My coworkers have talked about this place and said I had to try it. My barber also said cherry’s has awesome food. I got the large oxtail meal and my wife got the large jerk chicken meal. This food was so amazing that we went back in 2 days and ordered the same thing again and I’m considering going back a 3rd time in the same week. It’s been a long time since I had food that was this amazing and this is definitely our new spot. You won’t be disappointed

I tried Cherry’s for the first time with a friend today, and I’m already trying to talk my husband into coming back. I’ve been to some Jamaican restaurants that seem to rely on a single sauce for all their flavor, but at Cherry’s, everything is uniquely and amazingly seasoned, from the jerk sauce to the rice and peas. The atmosphere is fun, the portions are big and the food is like a spicy, wonderful hug.

I have been meaning to try Cherry’s for awhile but it was closed every time I was in the area. Finally had the blessing to and OMG, SO GOOD! I called in for pick up and the gentle men taking my order was very kind. I placed an order for jerk chicken & a beef patty. I suppose the platter defaults with rice and beans , cabbage, and plantains since he did not ask what sides I wanted. I was fine with that because let me tell you, it was AMAZING. The cabbage is sliced much thinner than what I’m use to but it had the perfect amount of spice and herbs. Delish- As for the rice, it was perfectly cooked. Soft but not mushy. The chicken- WOW! Charred perfectly AND the right amount of sauce poured on top! A decent amount of spicy. The beef patty was big and a lot of filling. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back! Blessings!

I am always happy about the food. Very delicious. The curry chicken and brown stewed chicken is delicious over the rice and kidney beans. My favorite snack to grab, every now and then from here, is the fried dumplings paired with the brown stewed chicken. The spice buns paired with cheese or butter are really good as well. The oxtail is always made tender and delicious. I will continue to return. I haven’t gotten disappointed yet. So, I am still a regular here. Hopefully, they will have many more years in service.

So delicious a bit pricey but the quality was amazing. If you are getting slot of food and or oxtail here it’s pricey but other than that large portions and a lot of flavor. I ate up my whole large platter and I wasn’t even that hungry. I recommend it. Also found out ginger beers slaps!!
