This is probably my favorite sushi place in Louisville. The sushi (and other food) is always delicious, the service is friendly and quick, and it’s a charming little place right on Frankfort Ave. Great place for a date lunch or date night with lots to do up and down the road from it. Street parking only as far as I know but there are usually spots fairly close.

I work nearby, and ordered take out for my wife and I to have on our lunch breaks. The women who answered the phone was so nice and friendly, and she took my order perfectly. The meal was ready when she estimated. I had never been to Osaka prior, but had good things. The interior was very cozy and relaxing and I imagine it looks very beautiful at night with the lighting. Our food was delicious, and refreshing. I think the item that really brought me to leave a review was the attention to detail in the takeout packaging. The bottom of the bag had a piece of cardboard to give the bag stability, the soup was placed in a halved to go box to prevent it from sliding around in the bag, as well as utensils and soy sauce were added to the bag. We will be back for future lunches and dinners. Thank you 🙂

Fried shrimp appetizer was excellent. Tempura vegetable was missing broccoli and only one onion but excellent. Derby roll used to have 6 big scallops. The one I had only 3 tiny ones. Wasabi was much hotter than usual. Which was a great surprise. Best sushi in town.

Best sushi in Louisville. We visit often for nigiri. The fish is fresh, the cuts are precise, and the rice is perfect. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for sushi in Louisville. Try something new. You won’t be disappointed.

Been looking for a good sushi place for a while, specially for uncooked sushi. This was it. The food was great, as well as the service. On the outside the establishment might not look amazing, but on the inside it looks and feels incredibly cozy. Nice music and good decoration overall. Would come back any day!
