Worst experience. Water has bad smell. Restroom was untidy. In terms of food, we expexted more better. I have been eating so many indian restaurants over the United States, but food here was below average. The piece of lime maybe cut more than three years ago (just kidding). But average price was high. They should be more careful with overall restaurant environment

Being vegetarian does not offer a lot of options, in my experience, in Las Cruces. I feel I’ve hit the jackpot with India Hut. Their food is perfectly seasoned (medium for me) and delicious. The tofu has a good “mouth feel” and is not soggy or tough. The rice is aromatic, fluffy and tender. I’m so happy to have found this place. It is delicious!!!

False Advertising; The website has a lunch special for $7.95 with two entrees and comes with rice/bread and a drink. It states “to go orders only” and its only on Friday/Saturday. SO I made a “to go order” over the phone with my selections plus a $2.00 add on Samosa he said ok with an estimate of 45 minutes. When I get there for pick up the bill is $91.45 and I asked how two lunch specials with an add on came to that amount. He told me they don’t have a lunch special and that I must of seen it on another restaurants menu (I checked when I came home and its on their website and how were the dishes the exact same that totaled to 91.45??) So I said sorry not gonna pay for a $91.45 lunch for two and left. I went to Taste of India and ordered one Veg and one Chicken special that was GREAT for $35.60………….Wont be back to the Hut.

A bit shabby, but the food was very good. The goat was a lot of bone, but the chicken dish (Kadai Cicken) sauces were delicious, as was the garlic naan. Would definitely eat there again, but skip the goat.

By far some of the best tasting Indian I have had in the USA. It is far better in England BTW. Couple of complaints: 1) Very expensive $15 for 1 pound of Kadai Chicken and rice – bit of a small portion IMHO. 2) On a previous occasion, I ordered, told 20 minutes, showed up at 40 minutes, waited 10 minutes, no food and I had to go – the guy tending the till was totally incompetent. 3) There was a bone/joint in the last Kadai chicken that had. For this kind if money, I fully expect the food to be boneless.

I ordered food to go at 6 pm. After waiting forty five minutes I asked for food or my money back. I was told they were busy, just 5 more minutes. Chicken legs were the driest I’ve seen. My wife liked hers but waiting almost an hour for this was a total waste of time, and $36 bucks !

Love the food here. It’s always consistently good and some of it has been really spicy (which is a good thing lol!). Would definitely recommend their food.

It’s been years since I had India Hut. After having their Lamb Tikka Masala today, I wish it had been many more years…preferably never. The lamb was fatty. Some chunks were all fat. It was too sweet. I barely ate any and had to throw it out. The samosas are tiny. Huge waste of food and money.

The food was quite delicious. I have tried butter chicken, karai chicken and goat curry. Karai chicken was spicier compared to Butter chicken even with spicy options. So keep that in mind while ordering.
