Pho is one of my favorite dishes, and I decided to go for the server’s recommendation, which included wonderfully charred and saucy spare ribs. The atmosphere of this Vietnamese restaurant is draped in artwork reminiscent of street vendors, and there’s a sheer character in that belief which is demonstrated in table side heaters and the use of coffee cans for utensils. The service is prompt, kind, and efficient. They had non-stop take-out orders and managed to serve a party for two accordingly. The pho brisket was delicious, ranking as one of the best broths I’ve ever had. Spare ribs with an egg roll, rice, and salad proved to be an excellent summertime meal. I can’t wait to return to Bahn Town for another affordable and savory experience.

The pho itself was delicious and came fast, the egg rolls we ordered never made it to our table, but the large group who came in two parties after us got egg rolls no problem. They also got to order their food before patrons who walked in right behind us, and before them.

Ordered the vermicelli bowl and Vietnamese coffee. Both arrived within 5 minutes of me sitting down (including the time I took to read the menu). Fast service and delicious food! Banh Town seems like a great place for a quick lunch, a group meal, or takeout. I would certainly return to try some more yummy looking dishes from their menu!

Banh Town is a pretty good Vietnamese restaurant. It’s located in a little strip mall with limited parking. I was lucky to find one spot open when I stopped by on a Sunday around 3pm. The restaurant has a somewhat contemporary aesthetic with the menus, the metal chairs, and logo. The people working there are friendly, but they unfortunately were bringing our dishes to another table that had shown up after us. While we couldn’t tell at first, the other table looked a little confused when they received the food. Finally when my dish came out and was delivered to the wrong table, one of the other table said it was the wrong item and then I was given the item. It was frustrating that my partner did not get her meal until a later because they had to cook up a new batch which threw off the timing of our meal. When it comes to the food it was pretty good. The egg rolls tasted standard but good – I’m not sure but it seemed like there was some taro in it? For the entrees, my partner had the beef stew which was sweet and fragrant of spices. I chose the Works plate. The pork was good and the meatloaf was good as well. Overall it was a pretty good meal and if I return I would try the banh mi.

I originally had the grilled pork banh mi when they were window service only, and was very impressed. I recently came back when they opened up the dining room again, and finally had a bowl of the beef pho. The broth was incredible and the slices of meat plentiful. I think they are my favorite pho in all of Seattle.

Amazing Vietnamese restaurant! Located at the triangle between Greenwood Ave and Holman Road, the parking is limited. It is a clean and decent young restaurant server authentic Vietnamese food. I ordered the vermicelli bowl and the quail egg poppers. The vermicelli was a big portion of rice noodle and two egg rolls. The quail egg poppers are pretty amazing, first time see this dumping style food have egg in it.

Great lunch place! Almost no parking outside, and not many tables inside either. The chicken bahn mi was really tasty, as was the beef stew. The stew has a lot of anis in it. Nice with a real Saigon beer as well. Prices are good too.

Ordered beef pho and rolls…opened plastic bag to a hair laying on the wrapping of the food. Mint wasn’t fresh (it went bad and they still used it) and found mold on part of the rolls. I have pictures, going to try and share them.
