To celebrate our 17th anniversary my wife and I wanted to try a new place so we went to Taproot Old Mill Cafe at the Old Mission Mill. It was incredible! We both had the Loaded Biscuits and Gravy and it far exceeded our expectations! The potatoes were cooked perfectly. The biscuits were light and fluffy. The gravy was the best sausage gravy I think I’ve ever had. Topped with a fried egg and bacon bites, the menu says bacon bits but that is an understatement! We washed it all down with a yummy cocktail. I had the Breakfast Mary and it was very good. My wife had the Blueberry Lavender Fizz and it was very good also. 10/10

Very quaint and casual environment, located in the back of the Willamette Heritage Center. Cody, our server, was friendly and got all nine of our orders correct. I would recommend the cinnamon roll pancakes if you’re craving for something sweet.

What an incredible little hidden gem! The biscuits and gravy are astounding, and b&g are kind of my jam. Rarely crowded, easy parking, quiet little spot. Great food, coffee, and drinks. Rotating art on display, too. The service is excellent, as one would hope. Just love it!

Breakfast tacos were super good and quite honestly the potatoes were to die for. I ate it too fast to get a picture. Super cute patio area to enjoy and it’s dog friendly. Our server Nic was the sweetest!

I came here for brunch after leaving another place unhappy. I wasn’t feeling well and last minute has to have the waitress box up my food to go. She was very kind about it. Food was still delicious after driving all the way home to Silverton! Love their yoga and drinks in the Summer!

Absolute trash! I got a bloody Mary to start, basically tasted like cheap vodka with a splash of mix but not too surprising as most people don’t make good ones. On to the food, I ordered the old barn Hash with over medium eggs, the hash was pretty decent the eggs were over cooked on the bottom and under cooked on the top and a side of English muffins which came cold and unbuttered while my wife’s came hot and buttered. My daughter got eggs bacon and sausage, the bacon was incinerated, a minute longer and it would have been black, the scrambled eggs were dry and the sausage was over cooked and dry as well. She also got the cinnamon roll pancakes which was the only thing that I can actually say was on point. My wife claims they are good on Sundays but I won’t be returning to find out.

My husband and I have eaten here several times for breakfast, and today was an especially good experience, so I thought we should tell everybody! Alex waited on us from start to finish and was most accommodating to our needs. He is very personable and went along with our silly little jokes.Of course the Breakfast Mary’s were scrumpdiddlyumptious! My husband loved the Tomorrow IPA. With our two breakfasts we had coffee which was nice, full bodied, with a hint of chocolate and not burnt or old like many other restaurants serve. We keep coming back because the food is good, the atmosphere is fun, and the staff are top notch.
