Fairly busy for hosting the LM Songwriters Festival. Nice venue. We didn’t eat, but we did have some beverages. Bartenders were nice but seemed unprepared for the crowd. My bushwacker was terrible. Maybe the machine was broken? Otherwise, I ran into see some old friends, and the laid-back atmosphere allowed me to catch up.

My 2nd time eating here. The first time was for my wife’s HS reunion and there was a buffet. This visit was for a good friends 50th bday. I ordered Shrimp & Grits. The dish was great. I can’t say the same for the service. After waiting almost 90 min, and 12 of 15 people in the party having completed their meal, they finally brought my plate. Waitress offered no apology or discount on the food. Safe to say I have no plans to return.

Ordered the catfish, grits, sweet potato rice. The catfish was outstanding, rice was different but good and the grits were watered down with absolutely no seasoning. Now let’s talk about service had to ask twice for water, no tater sauce, I had to get up and ask again for hot sauce, the grits needed a spoon but waiter was irrated we ask for a spoon. My friend had to ask 3 times for another drink. The bill came oh wait you can’t see the bill they tell you how much and boom it’s on whatever card you give them. This would be a great place if they get some training on customer service.
