The best barbecue we’ve had and in such a unique, warm atmosphere. We first visited years ago, and the food never disappoints. It’s comfort food we keep coming back for. The holy trinity bowl and ribs are our go-tos. Captain Stan’s dog (I think his name is Parker?) is such a sweet boy and clearly is living the best life, full of BBQ samples and affection from all the guests!

We arrived at about 530pm, parking is limited. The entrance to the restaurant was confusing, we found the register and the ladies told us to pick a table and someone would come and take our order. We found that the dine in was more like a back yard BBQ. It was 95 degrees and not a good day to eat outside. The BBQ was good, not great. The collard greens were not eatable. Tha atmosphere was good for a backyard cookout. I don’t think I will return until it cools off a lot. I was wet with sweat and needed to get cool. This wasn’t a bad meal and the people were really nice. But it was hot and the food wasn’t good enough to eat outside in the heat.

Best Southern BBQ we’ve Ever Had! Passing threw Beautiful Georgia on our way back to Fla. CAPTAIN STAN’S BBQ Ribs and Chicken were outstanding. We also had sides of Cole slaw and baked beans. The cook and waitress were so friendly and welcoming. We will return next trip up north.

Great food, amazing live band, not to be missed! Don’t be scared by the exterior and eclectic decor, that’s all part of the charm. The owner himself came out and poured shots of tequila for everyone! If I’m ever in this part of the world again, I’ll definitely stop in.

This is the best ! I got the shrimp-best I’ve ever eaten! Fresh and seasoned with garlic. When my husband bit into his ribs he said Now that’s the way ribs are supposed to taste! The sides were delicious, the Keylime pie was great, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend!

I have to admit this is definitely a unique place to stop and eat. It has a great outdoor sitting area with lots of great things to look at. Most of all the food is great. Loved the X-Large tater with cheese and pork, burgers looked great and the fish sandwich had a great flavor. Great food and service. Would definitely love to eat here again!

My wife found this place online several years ago. It’s not far off I-95. Ever since we stop whenever we’re passing by. Food is Delicious. I hate collard greens, but eat double orders when there. Can’t wait to go again.
