We went there to pick up the pizza and fell in love with the ambience of the place, the warm smile that we received from the people working there and the music! We decided to eat the pizza there itself. Our 1 year old son loved the dinner and as his mom, I felt, this is one of the dinner dates that will stay forever in my mind.

We love MOD. This is a new location in Newcastle. Our first time. Very nice and helpful employees. Been to many different MODs and this was up there as the best pizza to date. Plenty of cheese. Some locations are more skimpy and you have to almost beg for xtra. This is a great place for family’s as well. Very reasonable prices for how terrific the food is. Only like $11 for a big gluten free pizza, loaded with yummy toppings. You just can’t get a better deal for a GF crust in a sit down establishment. Was large enough to feed 2 healthy appetites.

Pizza is alright at best. Toppings aren’t spread out. Everything is clumped in the middle. Everything in the store is really clean and neat though. Would only come back with a group of friends. Would not if I was craving pizza myself.

called in an order. While waiting to pick it up I asked for a large Greek salad. The person acknowledged. I went to the restroom, then checked on my pizzas. They were ready. I went back to the ordering line but by then a family has come it. I asked if my salad was ready. The preparer got distracted and forgot about it. I was in a hurry so I told him not to worry about it. Grabbed my order and left.

I like MOD pizza but this location is not good. I live near here so have come a few times for convenience – twice my pizza bubbled up to leave a few areas without toppings (bc toppings at this location are sparse) and another time they put the wrong toppings. Wait times here are awful, service is slow, people aren’t sure what they’re doing, and directions aren’t followed on online orders. There’s also very limited parking. Factoria location is much better so I’ll stick to that one.

Really a hit or miss at this place. I come here a lot and I would say 70% of times waiting time and service is good. This time was really frustrating for me as I have to repeat myself at least 3 times for each item I would like to add in my salad. When I asked for my dressing to be mixed in the guy went to grab a cup as if I asked for it on the side, and looked back at me really confused when I said to him two more times I would like it mixed in. The portion I got for a mega was really a mod, my bowl was half full. My dressing was not mixed in, was just ‘on’ my salad, and I waited for a half hour in line with 5 people in front of me the whole time. I understand there is staffing issues and what not these days, but there were 5 employees behind the food bar and they seem to be just chatting. Very frustrating and unpleasant experience. But the food is still ok.

Omg this place is so deceiving!!! I ordered a regular 11 inch pizza, but after eating half of it I was still really hungry, so I took a second look and decided to measure it. And guess what???!!! It is actually 8.5 inches instead of 11 inches!!

The food was great, and the cheese on the pizza was very stringy. The garlic bread and no name cake were also very good. Everything was served fast(because there was no one ahead of us in line. But it was still fast). It was a bit loud but that’s my only complaint

Mod ihas good pizza, thin crust and crispy. Lots of toppings to choose from, the ingredients are pretty good. usually the people behind the counter or pretty great at giving you plenty of toppings and you can always ask for more.
