All of our steaks are hand-cut in-house from black Angus cattle raised on Iowa family farms. We stopped off here on the way to Colorado to eat dinner.. Very clean restaurant, service was good. I ordered potato soup not the best and ordered Cajun chicken breast with peppers/onions with cheese on top of mashed potatoes and it was good.

We traveled in our RV from Florida to Davenport to visit my home town that I’d not been back to since moving to FL over 45 years ago and also to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We chose this restaurant to have our anniversary dinner. The steak was cooked perfectly medium. The only thing that left a little to be desired was the French Onion soup. They could do MUCH better there. Service was good. We would recommend the place definitely.

The bartender didn’t even acknowledge me for quite some time. When she finally did, I tried to get her attention while she was getting my drink. But, she was too busy talking to other people that she had been visiting with prior. Therefore, I didn’t get what I wanted.

Davenport..went at 5pm 4/5/23. Waitress was Ashley. She was great. Kept glasses of water full and was back to check on us quite frequently. I had the Ribeye and it was fantastic. Melts in your mouth. The onion rings are the best I’ve tasted. The only thing I didn’t care for was the strawberry cheesecake. Had odd flavor and strawberries were very hard. Other than that I’d go back in an instant.

Drove here from Rockford to celebrate our 60th anniversary our steak was absolutely delicious, so tender and juicy Salad was great and loaded potato was yummy as well. You won’t be disappointed coming here for a meal, we’ve been before and will be back again.

This place is generally great! Bartender is fantastic food is solid. However, I was dining alone at 5pm on a Saturday and wanted to eat at the bar. Rita is manager has decided not to allow people to eat at the bar until 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays. I was the only person at the bar. They turned away a $50 in business.
