Tried a new pizza joint this evening. Basil Garden Pizza. Good pizza. We kept it real and got pepperoni and plain cheese pizzas. To me, it’s a New York style of slice. The crusts are flaky and pillowy, and the pie with a rich sauce. The cheese is a nice bend that somewhat slides off the slice. The prices are a bit high, but the pies are a bit bigger than a usual pizza place. Good taste, so it’s worth it. The staff are nice and very quick. The parking is fine and there are sufficient spaces, but the shopping area location is real dark here. Kind of concerning if you have kids. So be careful. The interior is nice. Cozy and comfortable. Overall, a nice place, good food, and I would go back.

Buyer beware! Ordered online from them on Saturday night. The pizza arrived 2.5 HOURS later . They told us it would be 50 minutes. The guy showed up and said “sorry my friends car broke down”. They had our number because they texted us the 50 minute wait time but no call or text saying they would be late. Best part was we called them several times during the outrageous wait time but they don’t answer their phones . Not sure how you operate a pizza joint like that?

This pizza is easily the BEST pizza I’ve ever had! My fav is the Margherita and the taste parade starts with the crust which is both crunchy and chewy. The sauce is tangy with a hint of sweetness and pairs well with the provolone cheese and basil leaves. Simple, rustic, full of flavor and it’s gluten free! You’re welcome

So I went in for the first time today, I was looking for a pizza place that seemed a little more authentic than your usual place, and this place seems like it does it pretty well, the building is small which isn’t too much of an issue to me, but for others if you plan on eating inside it is quite small. Now I ordered a pepperoni pizza, large. And it was AMAZING, I savored every bite and I will be coming here more often, though I do think one thing that could use work is the accessibility of the parmesan or eat , overall a really good experience and the young man behind the counter was kind and they had my pizza out before their quote of 10 minutes. 8.9/10

Had pizza delivered for dinner for the first time (great job with the website and ordering system—top notch!). Being a native New Yorker, I’m pretty picky about my pizza. Certain places “claim” to make NY pizza…(ahem Amico)..but it’s nothing like real NY pizza. This place has legitimately good pizza (also ordered chicken parm hero, since I missed that a ton). Flavor profile was on point for both. The crust, cheese, and sauce were excellent and shouldn’t disappoint. Word of advice for delivery at home, and you’re gonna have to trust me to take this extra step because this minor step will transform your pizza experience, I promise! : PUT YOUR SLICE IN THE TOASTER OVEN FOR 3-4 min until the cheese is just bubbly and the bottom crisps because your pizza arrives DORMANT having cooled down en-route to your home. When you reheat it for a few minutes, the flavor profile, texture, and consistency become ALIVE…TRUST ME! Can only speak for their regular cheese and pepperoni pizza, not the specialty pies, but I don’t doubt they’ll be done well too. Good luck Basil, we want you for the long haul!

“Sausage” pizza came tonight with crumbled, sausage-like product on it resembling mouse droppings. Tasted accordingly. Crust was thicker than normal, definitely not the NY style thin we are used to. Cheese tasted different too, and not in a good way. It’s a shame as this place used to be our favorite. Cutting costs is going to be their eventual demise.

Got the hot &spicy wings. They were amazing!!! Big juicy crispy wings. Ate them plain didn’t even need sauce. Also got the 10” storm pizza. Good pizza with fresh ingredients on a thin crust.

Was in town for the night and our going out plans fell through. Decided to order the pizza and just eat at the hotel. So glad we did. We ordered cheese sticks, a small sausage for the kids, and a large Rocky top for us. All were great. Only minor issue was no way to customize specialty pizza thru online order so I just decided to order in person. everything was made to order in under 15 minutes. Highly recommend.
