Food was pretty good. Waitress was eh… I asked for half and half (iced tea with lemonade) and she brought me out a half sweet half unsweetened tea. I got a Checkers Chips appetizer with sour cream and onion flavoring on and you could hardly taste the flavoring. My entree (chicken Parm sandwich and fresh cut fries) was good tho. My other half got a 6 or 8oz steak with mashed potatoes and something else and she said it was pretty good as well. Overall, MIGHT be back not sure.

Well I was traveling through and was hungry so I asked maps what restaurants were in the area. Checkers popped up. I thought it was a Checkers like the ones we have in FL. Boy was I wrong… it was sooooo much better!!!! Not fast food but a nice hometown sit down restaurant. My nephew and I had a burger and fries which were delicious and a cheeseburger, hand pattied 1/3 lb, with fresh cut fries for 6.75!!!!! You sure can’t beat that! Highly recommend and if I’m ever passing through Mt Union again, you can bet your britches I’ll be stopping in for lunch!

We knew nothing about the place so were really happy to find a restaurant that we really like. The Old Bay Crab Fries are a great sharable and all of the dinners we ordered were very good. Prices were very reasonable too.

Good homemade style food. I haven’t eaten dinner there yet but breakfast and lunch were delicious. The omelettes are huge and packed full of your favorite filling. The cheese steak mess is enough for 2 meals . The sausage gravy needs more seasoning but I’m from the south. The Subs are one of a kind. One of my favorite places to go now. Only takes about 15 to 20 mins for takeout.
