Food was very bland. Had the nachos with chicken and beans and it barely filled me up… I had to order something else. Was probably literally only 10 chips with toppings. Chicken was very dry and not seasoned enough. Not worth the $13 for nachos. Then had the potato and chorizo burrito to try to fill me up… not worth it. Potatoes have no flavor. Salsa inside is very runny and literally tastes like its store bought. Not authentic Mexican food at all. Very friendly service and great people, however was very disappointed with the food.

Went in this morning to get breakfast burritos with my girls. The two people behind the counter asked us how are day was. I told them, it’s alright. Told them we were off to see my wife who is in hospice care. They bought us breakfast and said they understand what we are going through . Unbelievable compassion. Thank you for your kindness, when we feel so helpless. Food is so delicious and service is out of this world. Thank you and God bless.

This was the first time we have visited since they moved to the new location. It is just as good as we remember. The people are very friendly and always laughing and smiling. The menu is large with all kinds of different options. They close early and aren’t open on Sundays so we can’t go as often as we’d like.

It’s not Authentic Mexican Food as you can see, anything that’s flooding under cheese and beans is not. But if you like Taco Bell and Del Taco this will be ok for you 😉 it’s just more expensive. The service is great ! People are friendly and fast

Conscientious Ethics
This is not a Mexican Restaurant nor do they serve authentic Mexican food! The tortillas that they use for burritos are purchased from a grocery store or elsewhere and are similar to Kroger’s flour tortillas. Definitely not what I expected, especially with the title “Maria Elena’s Mexican Restaurant.” The burritos aren’t folded at the bottom, and they hand them to you with no bag unless it’s requested! I requested one on my second and last visit, and got the ol’ eye roll. The ingredients are clearly made days in advance. The potatoes have become complete mush, the ground beef is dried out etc. The taco shells are also store bought and very small! The beef was cold and old, the cheese was not melted, and clearly came straight from a package that was already shredded by the manufacturer.
