We had an okay experience at The Bar & Bistro recently. Service on the patio was friendly but slow at times. Food was decent enough but not anything memorable. I ordered the Caesar salad with salmon. Salmon was cooked nicely but salad probably could have used a bit more flavor and dressing. My partner generally her house salad with chicken but not blown away. It’s a nice atmosphere and I’d be willing to give another shot to try other items on the menu.

I love this place! Such a nice place for a date or for brunch. Service was great, menus are awesome. The experience is super chill but also feels like you’re spoiling yourself. Affordable and feels high-end. Definitely check this place out.

The chicken confit was divine and so crunchy & tender. I did make sure to add a garlic mashed side and it went so well with the carrots. Highly recommend the drinks were very tasty as well.

Had dinner on 6/25 with 6:00 reservation. Three of us. Drinks were ordered after several minute wait. All good so far. Took at least 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive even though we were 5 feet from the bar. Ordered 2 appetizers. No calamari. Crab cakes average at best with mostly filler. Ahi tuna was excellent. Ordered another round of drinks. Took at least another 15 minutes to arrive. Main entree eventually brought out after another long wait. Perhaps the reason for the slow service was that there was a Large wedding taking place in the same building. Shared kitchen, perhaps? Won’t be going back until they work out their service issues. Place has potential otherwise.

Someone here knows how to cook – sort of. Flavors are generally ok, but missteps like an undercooked omelet, burned English muffins, and under seasoned truffle fries make it hard to call the food “good.” Service doubles down on the poor experience by being super slow and inconsistent. Pancakes delivered – syrup showed up ten minutes later. Most dishes delivered to the table were cold and congealed. One coffee refill when the mug was still half full. Then nothing for the rest of the meal.

Disappointing. May give it another try…..but unsure. We were there at 4:30 on a Saturday. They were out of over 1/2 of the items on the menu! Still, we found things to order and our food was good. We were surprised upon getting our bill however. I had a single shot vodka and soda (house vodka) in a tall glass. I don’t know that the “tall glass” held any more content than a short thicker glass, but I’m recovering from a broken hand and it is easier for me to pick up a thin taller glass. Anyway, I was charged extra for the tall glass. And I was charged extra for the soda. There was a price for the vodka, a price for the glass and a prices for the soda. IF we return, I’ll just drink a glass of wine and we won’t go in with many food expectations.

The ambience is nice. They were fully booked for the night so we sat the bar. The food took almost an hour due to a mixup in the kitchen. Overall it was mediocre with the rice being very wet and the wings being okay. The bao buns are served with cucumber and a sauce. The drinks were alright. Everything was reasonably priced but we did only get two appetizers and a couple drinks

This was an amazing dinner spot. My brothers and husband and I dined on Saturday night. We had the Bao Buns, which were dang delicious! The Korean Wings were also dang delicious! We also split Pretzels and Beer Cheese, Crab Cakes, Chicken quesadilla, Reuben, Monte Cristo, and Fries. The cocktails are very reasonably priced and were also DANG DELICIOUS!
