Easy to find establishment off the highway. I kinda wish the meat man would cut a smile at the customer’s to say the least. 4 outta sight meals and half rack of ribs ordered from here folks. All I can say is that half rack of ribs were the best and not dry. When the meat dude pulled out the brisket, it looked like old zombie meat. The brisket meat was dry and the bbq sauce couldn’t drown the meat enough to save it. I had Mac and cheese and boy was it stale. Got mash potatoes as a replacement side. My main complaint would be the sandwich itself, they downsized the hoagie to a hot dog bun size and I remember when they were not shy about the portions. Jerry Jones picture is on their wall and the meat was dry as he is. I know I’m being generous with the 3 stars.

We dined in, but the food was so yummy we forgot about pics. Oh well, they don’t call them “The best barbecue in Texas” for nothing, am I right? We had the brisket sandwich plate with tater salad and Mac and cheese. Truly THE BEST BARBEQUE IN THE SOUTH!! You know we’ll be back.

Had a craving for stuffed potato and opted for SoulMans Bbq and it didn’t disappoint. Been here before but wouldn’t say I’m a regular. Service: very good, friendly staff, order was correct and hot. Potato: hot, FULL of meat as per the pic, n cheese; wasn’t overcooked which is very important. Got the sauce on the side and it was full of flavor. Add on: I figured I might as well get desert, my fav.. pecan pie. Ooh Wee.. o so good. Thanks SoulMan.

My first time experience was good but this one was bad. Brisket was nasty, the Caucasian man had no good customer service, no smiling or welcoming atmosphere. He let my buns hit the metal surface and use the same ones. I feel like the proper thing would have been discarding them not to mention he went to use the restroom and came back quick so he either didn’t wash his hands or he washed them for 5 seconds. He was also working with only 1 glove. He can affect customers that way, as food handlers certificate teaches about cross contamination

I moved to Cedar Hill about 6mos ago and stumbled on this place. The young ladies are so nice, kind, and, polite. The man that cut the meat both are very nice as well. And what can I not say about the delicious ice cream it’s so good !! Thanks guys u Rock !!!
