Oh my gosh! Bongiorno is my new favorite Italian restaurant! It’s a small place but the food was delicious and the staff were so friendly. We ordered the Manicotti, small pizza, and the weekly special (beef, veggies, mushrooms). Everything was cooked to perfection! If you plan to visit, I recommend making reservations or getting there early because it is a small place and gets busy fast!

This is a wonderful Italian restaurant. It is not a quick dine so bring your conversation. Enjoy the meal and your companions. It is not fast food. It was cooked and presented with time and care. Food is exceptional. However, WITH 7:30 reservations (we arrived 15 min early) WAITED 50 MINUTES for our table. By then, all out of meatballs, lasagna (@ an Italian restaurant?) and some seafood item. Food arrived by 9p, forgot our salads… umm. Probably not again until they put diners on notice that tables are for 1.5 hrs max during peak times.

My husband and two kids had one night in Birmingham and we happen to come across this delightful family owned Italian restaurant. There were 3 -4 generations of family working there. The service was top notch and the food was incredible. We had large portions and all shared several dishes. We did have a hard time picking which dishes to get because there were too many great things to choose from.
