I enjoyed the stay. Good food, sizable portion, very friendly and prompt service, good view of the seashore. It was a hot day and the temperature inside was a little too high. It may have been because I was the first customer, as MEXiCUE had just opened for the day, and A/C possibly did not have enough time to cool down the area inside.

The location is the only descent thing about this restaurant. We ordered the brisket taco – which was really dry – and an item off of the brunch menu which was absolutely flavourless. We then were given a bill for double the amount we owed – which turns out was a mistake. Overall, not great service.

Cocktails are great here. Had the Frida Mezcal and def would reco to anyone who loves fruity yet punchy. Had the ceviche nachos which were good, but we’re a bit skimpy on the fish part. Overall great and appreciate the local resident discount.

Visited MEXiCUE with a party of four for dinner. Waited a bit to be seated. Enjoyed a range of cocktails that were all quite good. We started with nachos which weren’t finished by the time our mains arrived. The food was decent but not outstanding. The staff were friendly, but the overall experience felt a bit disjointed. We requested extra meat for the nachos, but it wasn’t brought. Despite notifying the waiter, it was still on the bill.

I really enjoyed the interior. It’s in a great location and the food was pretty good! I was there for an event so I can only speak to the tacos, chips, and drinks, but it all came out timely and tasted great. Was a big fan of the red sauce served with the chips. Had a soft taco that was probably one of the best I’ve had this year. Would recommend for a happy hour.

The service was extremely slow. I ordered guacamole and the fried chicken tacos and 4 drinks. The food took an hour to come on and it was not so busy day. Servers going in and out taking orders. When I walked towards the kitchen to let them know they’re taking forever to bring my food I saw about 15-20 plates sitting waiting to be served. With about 5-6 servers here this is unacceptable and slow. I didn’t even get a water refill and my drinks took about 30-45 minutes. I canceled the rest of my food because it was taking forever.
