Very similar style to Chipotle, although that comparison doesn’t come close to doing this restaurant justice. The food was fresh, delicious, and their rice had just a touch of tomato flavor. Highly recommend as an alternative to other Mexican style fast food, much fresher and tastier while still having a build-your-own system and quick service. On top of all that they are very reasonably priced, similar or even less than other similar restaurants.

The actual restaurant is a great little place, but I wanted to talk about their catering service. We had this Chronic Tacos franchise cater our wedding and were blown away by the quality of food and service, to say nothing of their ability to roll with all the punches of doing an event this year. They were in communication during the whole lead-up to the wedding, then showed up on the day with amazing food, designed a super cute catering table using decor we provided, and took all the headache out of making sure our guests were fed. A vegan option was no problem, and everything was fresh and delicious.

I love Chronic. I have been coming here for so many years. The perfect day is hanging out at the beach, then hitting up chronic on the way home. I usually just get a couple steak tacos and maybe a mahi taco. It’s definitely a local favorite. Constantly people coming in to get some delicious food.

This is the spot to get your Mexican food if you want the real deal, affordable, and fast. First time here at the Newport Beach spot and it was perfect! Portions that had me eating leftovers at home after eating some on Newport Beach! If you gonna complain about the day after I suggest you just get a lil fiber in you guero.
