Empire State Pizza was recommended to me by a co-worker today (02-07-2023), and we were pleasantly surprised by this great Mom and Pop establishment. I stopped by for lunch and had the two slice and a soda deal for just over $9. The slices of pizza come from a 21″ pizza and they were tasty as could be. I had the Jalapeno, pepperoni, and cream cheese. My meal was very filling and great on a budget!

I’ve been coming to Empire State since they opened. I’m never disappointed in their pizza by the slice, salads, and huge pies! This is the best pizza in the area and my partner and I try to stop in at least once a week. Try their daily lunch special if you’ve never been in. You’ll love it.

Stopped in today for my first visit. Tried the lunch special, which is two slices and a drink. I ordered a slice of pepperoni, and a slice of the Colorado – which is pepperoni, sausage, green chilies and cream cheese. Took my order to go so they boxed it up. Got to my office and neither slice was what I ordered. Instead of the Colorado, I got the Rockefeller – which is Pepperoni, bacon and cream cheese. Seems like a decent pizza but not remotely close to what I wanted. Instead of a pepperoni, I got a margherita, which is an olive oil and garlic sauce with tomatoes and basil – could not be further from a red sauce with pepperoni. The tomatoes are marinated so strong they almost tasted pickled.

This is our go to spot for pizza the Colorado is our favorite by a long shot. They have amazing lunch specials and you can’t beat the bogo Tuesday I don’t know what makes their crust so good but my dogs are lucky to get a bite because it’s hard not to eat it all. 10/10

I make it a point to eat at every pizza place in every town I visit. NY, Chicago, or Detroit style I enjoy them all, but Empire State might be the best NY style pizza I’ve ever had. It’s definitely the best I have had on this trip, and I’ve stopped and had pizza in Dallas, Amarillo, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, and Denver. Slyce pizza in Fort Collins came in a distant 2nd. If you’re ever anywhere near Greeley, CO make sure to stop by and give it a shot.

We love their pizza! The crust is my favorite, the toppings are generous and the sauce is perfect. We stopped by for the lunch special and two huge slices and a soda for $8.95 was more than reasonable. I highly recommend!

I ordered 2 of the largest size pizzas they have and it was $70 dollars. Each slice had about 3 pepperoni and a couple of mushrooms but mainly it was just a large slice with a small amount of toppings which really isn’t worth the price.

Nice place, Awesome concept of NY knock off, great amenities with all the video games/pool tables/air hockey and the liike to have some jocular competition.
