Great fresh food. Got the Chilli Verdi Wet Burrito and it was wonderful. The salsa at this place is so good.

I’ll take a small authentic taqueroa over most Mexican restaurants, but the food here was forgetable. Nothing bad, not really explosive taste either. Little too salty to our taste, the taste of frejoles ( don’t believe it was home made) lasted way too long in our mouth ( me and my friend) and the salsa in the little white container was kind of weird. I don’t like to complain, but everything was only ok. No Mexican fresh beverages ( Horchata etc).

This restaurant needs Gordon Ramsey and Jesus. The first sign of trouble was the “salsa”. It wasn’t edible, so my husband asked for guacamole. I asked the server “how is the guacamole prepared?” She said they add green onions and mayonnaise. We should have walked out right then.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Worst food and service absolutely ever. I cannot believe this place is still allowed to stay in business. The management was one of the worst things I’ve ever witnessed to myself, the other employees, and other customers. Unbelievable!! THERES ANOTHER GOOD MEXICAN RESTAURANT DOWN THE STREET! Go there instead.

The waiter wasn’t friendly and made a couple snotty remarks because I was on my phone texting, I was also by myself. The quesadilla came out, covered with a lot of oil from the cheese. I couldn’t believe they served it, it looked unappetizing. I tried this place and won’t be returning.

I am always skeptical when I am taken to Mexican restaurants in “touristy” areas.

My wife and I have been going to El Toro for over 30 years on a near weekly basis. They’re Margaritas are second to none except for my wife’s, the chili verde burrito is second to none;I have tasted tested them all the way down to Newport Beach n SoCal. The vibe is always greaut and well we know people; that helps make it a great dinner experience.

Stopped in for a quick bite and had the best experience. The salsa was so good, I ordered huevos con chorizo, it was just like mom used to make. I would definitely come back.
