Kung Fu Kitchen in Walnut Creek exceeded my expectations with their exceptional service and genuine hospitality. Despite arriving near closing time, the staff warmly accommodated us and took our order with a friendly attitude. They even offered to let us pay next time when we realized we didn’t have cash. The food here is excellent. Been coming here for 5 years and it’s always very consistent. They do a ton of carryout business. I just wish they had a bigger dinning room. I don’t live that close to pick up carryout.

Surprisingly decent Chinese food, especially for being in Walnut Creek. The lunch portion was huge. The food seemed pretty high quality – was not oily and didn’t feel heavy in my stomach. I am sensitive to MSG and there was definite none used in prepping my food. They only have like 4 tables, so it may be more of a takeout joint.

I’m generally at this spot once a week. The people are always super sweet, the prices are reasonable, and the food is really good. It’s family operated, so don’t be surprised if you see a couple kids running around- I find that rather endearing.
