I’ve been here for several months and china wok Hampton beats any Chinese restaurant in Norfolk, Virginia Beach and other spots I’ve visited. Service is kind, fast and professional. Excellent! I ordered through DoorDash. Got General Tso’s chicken and Shrimp lo mein dinner specials, each was just right for one meal and the flavors were perfect. It’s been hard to find a place that does lo mein just right, but this hit the spot. The Tso’s chicken had a good balance of mild heat and sweetness. Cheese wontons were better than the competitor, and the egg rolls were really good too. This is going to be my new regular spot.

VA is for Food Lovers… Your typical local Chinese take out food spot… Has the traditional menu and lunch specials… It is clean and food is tasty. I like the broccoli because it is not overcooked… The down side is the shopping center has a lot of volume. So be careful when driving around the parking lot.

Sweet and sour chicken was ok but I am sure the fried rice was rice a roni “rice pilaf” flavor. I grew up on it and would notice the flavor anywhere. Don’t waste your money at this place. I could easily make this food at home!
