I found the place from someone else who posted an egg sandwich. I had to try it, only I had to make my own concoction. I did the blueberry waffle with the bacon and egg, with a little syrup. I’m telling you, it was a tasty sandwich, plenty of blueberries in the waffle, cheesy and the right spices in the egg. I went back in to say thanks to Fred for opening up a local eatery in the area and had to try the Corn Chowder. It was really tasty, plenty of corn, potatoes, spices and a nice touch with the croutons. I’ll definitely be back. You’re welcome in advance…. I’m back and it’s the 3rd of February. I’m having the Southwest sun-dried tomato soup, the photo doesn’t do it justice

Cafe with reasonably priced, freshly prepared and tasty foods. Owner is super friendly and the place is clean. Definitely check the website as their choices change regularly and they are always adding new items. The cider and freshly brewed coffee I had just now (pictured) were awesome! A real gem in the neighborhood. Recommended!

Fantastic flexible menu with plenty of vegan options sprinkled in with traditional fare. We had the breakfast sandwiches, which arrived fresh and at the perfect temperature for quick enjoyment. The vegan waffles with a side of home-made pecan butter and a drizzle of 100% maple syrup are the best I have ever had. This place is a must try.

They had a $1 iced or hot coffee deal going on during my first visit, so that was a nice surprise. I had a very good breakfast sandwich including avocado for under $5 so that made me smile to realize I could skip tim hortons from now on if I wanted a better coffee or breakfast sandwich in the mornings. No fancy espresso drinks, but the coffee was really, really good. They have a few gift items, including holographic pictures. I found one I love! This is a great little cafe, I am only sad that they don’t stay open later or I would probably stop in every day on my way to work! I love meeting cool people with cool places!
