I was traveling for work and wanted a quick bite to eat. I sat down and wasn’t expecting much from their lunch menu. Was I wrong?? I can’t believe the quality of food and service I received from a strip mall restaurant during off peak weekday lunch time. My server was Andrea (GREAT table side service) and I asked for her recommendation of what to order. She recommended the Szechuan chicken and I was not disappointed. The food came out hot, flavorful and portioned with just the right amount. If you’re are in the area and in need of a break from the fast food norm, treat yourself to a meal at Ichiban Asian Cuisine.

We used to come here ALL the time for take out and the occasional dine in. Not so much anymore. First off, they don’t want you in the restaurant. I feel like they have to say they have dine in, but by the way you’re treated and the portions you get if you do eat there, it’s obvious they do not want customers in there. Take out is usually great portion size and easy to order, but the last few times we’ve done that, the food hasn’t really tasted that good. Old grease used to fry the spring rolls, lesser portions of meat in the fried rice and even that doesn’t taste as good. How can you mess up fried rice? Anyway, I”ll change stars to 4 if they get back to good tasting food but I’m not expecting the dine in service to change any time soon. Sidenote to Ichiban: customers want the wonton strips that come with soup…don’t assume they don’t…include them with every order that has soup!!!!!

Man I don’t know how people hate on this place. I’ve never dined in but the food is the bomb. So fresh, great portions and they are always friendly. We ordered garlic chicken, hot soup, chicken lo mein and wonton soup. Easily 2 full meals!

Called for delivery 3x and went to vmail. Then someone answered & told me to hold, I waited for more than 10 mins b4 I decided to hang up & called again. Finally, I was able to order. The lady who took my order was very confused. She couldn’t get anything I’m ordering right. I had to repetitively give her my order several times. The lady who delivered our food was very pleasant, we waited less than 30 mins for our food which was faster than usual delivery. However, our food were all dry & bland even our soup. It was a complete waste of our $$$ to say the least. We got the flier from our mail, gave them a chance but Never again.
