This is always a very delicious place to go! The lamb meatballs are very delicious and very tasty! I also like to get the combo plate with gyro meat! The sides are always delicious and I can never decide which ones to get. I usually get the lentils, taboule and hummus! The pita bread is always warm, delicious and fresh! You can never go wrong with the dishes here. The prices are also very reasonable and you did a lot for what you pay for! I highly recommend this place! Whenever I’m close to the Nationals Park I always stop by, never miss an opportunity to dine here!

I don’t know how this location has even moderately good reviews. The staff consistently, and I mean as a rule not an exception, treat customers like an inconvenience. They don’t prepare nearly enough product and when it gets low they skimp on the amount they place into each order instead of planning ahead. They regularly begin breaking down and cleaning the restaurant at 8p and quit cooking so if you grab a late dinner at 830p or 9p you’re looking at slim pickings among the food. That’s quite unacceptable when it doesn’t even close until 10p. It’s appalling honestly.

I’ve been here plenty times and I’d say only twice the staff were friendly. Oftentimes and unfortunately, pleasant customers are met by crass staff who are post/high school age, with a nasty disposition, and disdainful facial expressions. Almost like they want to come off intimidating when it’s quite comical and sad. One girl was grabbing pita chips by the actual chips instead of the bag, squeezing the dressing on the food where the nozzle is touching the food…just absurd, lazy, and unsanitary. It seems like they’re hiring anybody at this location just to get the job “done”.

Getting there at 8:36 pm on Tuesday night, employees were removing the drink dispensers as they where closing ( on its website it says 10pm) tables were not clean and many ingredientes were not available. I have my doubts on going back. Definitely not at night, save your money.

I have to say this is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. This Cava at Navy Yard has the best quality food, everything is fresh, and the most amicable and welcoming staff. Great service and great food makes for a great experience. I’ll definitely be coming here again.

The attitude of the employees when I walked in this evening was unbelievable. I was not greeted for a solid 2 minutes with 4 workers all making eye contact with me and acting like I was invisible. Seemed like I was inconveniencing them by walking in when I did (which was at 7:30pm – not right before they were about to close). Do better no reason to treat your customers like trash.

Horrible service. They look at you like a three headed monster so confused as to why you’re in their presence any time you walk in the door and walk up to the counter – although most restaurant employees by doing so you’re there to order food – wild concept! But don’t worry, the rude behavior continues throughout the ordering process all the way until checkout! And don’t worry – if you come after about 8:30 don’t even dare to expect meat on the menu. They just decide to stop making it an option at all once they’re checked out for the evening. This place sucks. Spend your memory anywhere else. Rasa is similar and right around the corner. Go there or anywhere else to spare yourself.

What a fantastic place! Great food with a nice Mediterranean flair…hummus, olives, and even delicious lamb if you’re into that. You can get salads, greens and grain bowls, or wrap your favorites in a warm pita. Plenty of meat or meatless options available. I hope they open a Cava near where I live! Hint! Hint!
