Had a wonderful time here with my friends. Order yourself a large margarita, I had a blue curacao one – you’ll thank yourself later

A lovely, upscale Mexican restaurant. I had the pollo Crema, which was divine! My husband had a molè chicken and his was tasty too, but he regretted not ordering it spicier.

This is a fabulous gem in a seedy part of Portland. My husband stayed at a local hotel and came to MiCava & Cocina for dinner. He had a great meal, said the staff was fantastic and really enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately the location is not great, but it is really worth a visit. My husband had the sweet and spicy margarita sampler and the Seafood Mocajete. He said the Mocajete sauce was rich and savory and phenomenal!

I went in with my friend and his two babies they let us go on the opposite side of everyone and have an amazing dinner with amazing cazuelas. Also if you can’t finish you can take your food AND drinks to go (like margarita factory) fancy spot. Great for dates and hangouts. Highly recommend the tacos. Excellent service as well.

We were there 8:15 for 8:30pm reservation. But the place was slammed and overbooked. We got our food at 10:30pm. In spite of that the staff were very cool, calm and level headed. Super nice owner isakcoo (?) I’m sure I butchered his name. He came and spoke to us around 11:15. We will visit their place any day. It was their first year anniversary in n Valentine’s Day. I’m sure they will handle the crowd well next time.

We went there because they were hosting a wine tasting from a local Latinx owned winery. We stayed for a bite. The food was fantastic, great takes of fresh Mexican seafood. I was pleasantly surprised and the portions are good for the price (fair market prices).

Visited this place with my cousin during happy hour. We had the spicy Margarita sampler and the tamarind was my favorite. The aguachiles were delicious and different from what I am accustomed to having. We had oyster shooters and those were good too, between the tequila and hot sauce in it I’m not sure which burned more nice presentation on all the food. I had the shrimp tacos which were very tasty. We ordered clams and they were too fishy and we sent them back, they did not charge us for them which was appreciated. I’d definitely visit again!

This is a hidden gem! I had shrimp tacos for lunch and came back later for their Happy Hour. We had the clams & mussels and the fish, shrimp & Pastor tacos. It’s my new happy hour spot in town! For sure coming back often. This reminds me of the Happy Hour from the defunct Ringside seafood in downtown! Amazing deal!

Delicious cocktails ! The food is fresh! It’s a little expensive, but I had a Groupon, so it helped out!
