I was really shocked at how bad the food and service has been in the area where it seems that it should step up the game with the kind of clientele that it looks to cater to. So, i honestly didn’t have much expectation when i walked in the door. However, the hostess sat me in a nice table for one and the waitress was a very kind, hard working lady. I decided to go for the Baked American with grilled veggies and fries… and this cocao drink… ABSOLUTELY DIVINE!!! The chicken was sooooo tender and flavorful and the grilled veggies just added to the deep, rich flavor!! The fries also had a great flavor without anything added… savory goodness and the sweetness of the drink…. La Chaiim!!! Thank you so much! I plan to return one more time before i leave, i hope! But if i ever come back this way… most definitely! DON’T MISS OUT ON THIS GEM OF A PLACE! Every other place tastes the same (with the exception of The Grill). The fun flavor is also there with creativity oozing out of every part of the experience!

The service was okay, but food was definitely not for us. The spinach artichoke dip was thick and sour, the chicken strips and sauce were good, but the alfredo was watery and flavorless. The worst of all was the $53 bone in ribeye. It was very small for the price, but it was also not bone in. They said oops, I forgot to tell you they don’t have bones in anymore. However, the price remained the same. It was also watery tasting and not seasoned well.

Our server was awesome. Very polite very nice, but the food was not good at all. The coconut shrimp was burnt and the chicken alfredo was Pasty and gummy. I was hoping for so much better.

Our waitress was friendly and very nice, but we had to wait for more than 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our presence. Other tables that came after us placed orders before us. Atmosphere was fun. Food was excellent.

This one is tough. The upstairs bar and Brian the bartender is awesome. The pizza is good not great the rest of the food is not worth the price. The tough part is as good as the upstairs is the downstairs is so bad. It’s very common for guests to wait at the door for 15 minutes and even longer just to be greeted. It can be just as long or longer for a server to come to the table. We’ve walked out 3 different times because we weren’t greeted or served.

This used to be one of our long time favorites at Grand for a nice dinner with great food, however it has changed recently and not for the better. Our party of 6 went for our son’s birthday as he wanted prime rib which has always been very good in the past 15 years we have eaten at Shebang. Both of the prime rib we received were tough, overcooked and apparently no longer cooked on site. The two pizzas ordered were tough and very bland and served barely warm to the table. Even the Caesar salad was sub par and they were out of several appetizers and main dishes until their weekly delivery arrived. We used to recommend this establishment to our friends but no longer will we do so. Our server was great but she couldn’t make up for the food and said she felt terrible that nobody out of 6 people ate more than 1/3 of their meal and didn’t want a takeout container for leftovers.

New owners really need to get things figured out. Waited for 15 mins to get drinks and for the waitress to take our order. Ordered 4 prime ribs with baked potatos. Took 30 mins for our salads to come out. Ordered an appetizer that never made it out. Took hour and 15 mins for our main course to come out from when we ordered it. Waited multiple times for drink refills. Once food finally came out, none of our baked potatos were cooked all the way through on top of we ordered loaded baked potatos and got butter and sour cream. Was told they ran out of cheese and bacon. They were aware of the issues and told they were short staffed and told us thank you for your patience, but no offers were made to do anything for the wait or service. Sucks because we have been going there for years with excellent service and food. Hopefully, they get things figured out soon. Would hate for another restaurant on the lake to fail.

Worst chicken fried steak I’ve ever had. So soggy all the breading just fell off. No crisp at all. This place used to be good, I’ve eaten here for years. I don’t know what happened but the food has really gone downhill. The crab dip was not as good as it used to be. I wish it was how it used to be! I wouldn’t come here to eat dinner again.

My family flew in from Wichita to enjoy this unique dining experience! We weren’t disappointed! Our server, Nancy, was wonderful! My husband and I enjoyed the spinach and artichoke dip before our Filet Mignon Specials. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was so fun! Our girls loved putting on a show while we waited for our food. I was super tickled by all of the cheeky menu descriptions! Very clever! We will certainly be back some day!
