At our Lugoff, SC location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

This is the best fast food restaurant we have ever been to. We travel the country working shutdowns at paper mills. 12 hrs days wks at a time, welding. Very consistent service. Friendly Profesional employees at front counter. Good food. Thank yall so much for making us feel accommodated while we are here in Camden.

What other fast food place asks if you want a fork and napkin to go with your plate of food? Then they ask you if you want any sauces to go with your food only to find out that they didn’t give you not even one pack of sauce. Close the place if operating costs are so tight. Spent a little over $22 to eat a plate of dry fish.

It’s a great little (fast-food) seafood place that consistently does for fish what McDonald’s does for hamburgers. I still don’t understand why they sell chicken, though. Their tenders are awful and there are chicken restaurants nearby that do chicken better.
