I love Moe’s and decided to try this location. We stay at the hotel nextdoor often for medical treatment at UAB so this location was convenient and despite the low rating of the store I thought I’d give it a try. The crew was super friendly and helpful. The food however was not very good, smaller portions than other locations and a higher price. More disappointing was the food was lukewarm at best and the chips were stale. I really was surprised and not in a good way. Will stick to other Moe’s outside of Birmingham and continue to eat elsewhere when here.

Purchased the Homewrecker Burrito online. It was ready in less than 5 minutes. It is not very travel friendly, very messy. However, it was still an excellent burrito. I would get it again.

It’s nice to be able to get everything exactly the way you want it with only the ingredients your desire and none of what you don’t. I do wish that some of the ingredients weren’t so very cold when everything else in my bite is nice and hot. However, overall it is good food.

We were not impressed. The tables and floor were dirty…we had to clean our table! Buff guy working the front of the line was hurting and not taken off the line. He also didn’t not care about what he was doing…only got 9 pieces of chicken in my homewrecker…sad dudes. Will be taking our business to 4th Ave south next time.

I’ve been coming to this Moes since I was a kid and slowly watched it go downhill over the years. It’s gotten to the point where it’s just disappointing. The portion sizes are laughable; staff is unfriendly and seems put-upon to take our order. Place is unclean and coke machine didn’t have a single flavor available. This place used to be great. Management/ownership needs to invest the time and resources to make it the way it used to be or this location is going to close. Also what happened to “Welcome to Moe’s”??

As is stated in other lower rating reviews, the portions are too small & the quality is not comparable to any other Moes at which I have eaten. I ordered a stack, and the employee preparing my meal wrapped it without the “two crunchy corn shell tacos” (as the menu states). When I told him I ordered a stack, he unwrapped it and crushed 3 chips in it, then wrapped it back up. Then, I was asked to leave a tip. Couldn’t recommend against this location more – when there are other perfectly fine Moes locations in the same city.

I absolutely love Moe’s. I haven’t had it since I lived in Pittsburgh so excited when I found this one. Well, I should’ve known when I didn’t hear “Welcome to Moe’s” that I was at a bad one. The food was absolutely terrible. I’ve never ordered something that should have so much flavor but literally tasted like I was chewing on nothing. This is by far the worst Moe’s experience I’ve ever had! Not only did I throw most of my Stack away but my girlfriend could barely keep down two bites of her burrito before threw the entire thing away…. Also, the chips were stale and, at the time of writing this, my stomach is starting to hurt. Avoid this location. It’s terrible!
