First off, I would give five stars if it wasn’t for one reason (more on that in a minute) and am rating two stars only to possibly get attention from Management / owners. My entire family loves going here when everyone is in town. It is one of those rare places that everyone agrees on. BBQ is great, especially the turkey and the ribs. One issue, though. A friend recommended the burger a while back and we tried it and it was honestly one of the top 5 burgers I have ever eaten anywhere. That is saying a lot because I have had some great burgers all over the world. The burger tasted like it was made fresh from local meats and one like you would make on your grill at home. SO GOOD!!! Recently, when ordering the burger, something was different, but we chalked it up to maybe it was a one-time glitch. That glitch continued for several visits after that, though – with the flat, frozen tasting patty reminiscent of a fast food restaurant. We had dinner there recently and asked whether the recipe had changed and sure enough, it was confirmed. Rib Country, if you read this – please bring back the old burger!

Over the years, we have learned you have to be very careful when ordering to-go food. Often, we have not gotten everything we ordered, or there were other problems with the order. We keep going back because we like the food. We have not eaten inside the restaurant in many years. I do recommend this restaurant because of the delicious food.

I had a pulled pork sandwich with slaw. And 1/2 sweet tea & 1/2 pink lemonade aka an Arnold Palmer. The drink was $2.49 (delicious) the sandwich was 8.50. So tax included 11.76. They have condiments on your table so I could make it as saucy as I like. Very good.

I cannot say enough good things about Rib Country catering! They catered our wedding and did a phenomenal job. So many of our guests purposely stopped me to say how this was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had. This includes a guest list comprised of people from all across the US and internationally.

Used to go to Rib County from time to time on Sundays several years ago but this was the first time in recent years. This location specifically is where I would go. On this day, it was way past lunch, before dinner. Food was good, not great. I had the turkey sandwich. The baked potato (seen in the photos) looked like it had been under the lamp for a while, but I get it, they were in between service times. It’s a good spot for some after-church comfort food. It delivers for exactly what it is. Good BBQ type fare with a good amount of servings. Service was good

Place looks nice is clean and the staff is pleasant. The food is just simply not good. The beans were undercooked and hard the ribs are from Denmark yet they have a local farm down the road. The pulled pork is over cooked dry and stringy and the brisket is tough and terrible. Don’t get the chicken. The only good thing they had was the frozen fried shrimp. For a place with rib in the name you would think they would be good but they were, very underwhelming. My advice pass this one up..

If you’re planning on ordering children’s meals for your children you might want to order a regular size meal. We ended up ordering both the children’s rib and chicken meals for our children and had to substitute food from our meals to fill them up.
