I rarely ever eat at the same place twice while in a vacation, and I rarely give fivestars. I have to say though, I absolutely adore this little diner. The ambiance is great, the employees are welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable, and most importantly the food is wonderful. So far I’ve had their Eggs Benedict, and the biscuits and gravy which were both delicious. I will certainly be returning tomorrow morning to eat here again on my last day before I leave.

It’s the ROCKVILLE Kitchen & Bar… New owners and still serving a Fantastic breakfast. Always a great place to eat after a hike at the Rockville Regional Park, about a mile or less away.

More is more here, at least when it comes to decor. There are cutsey signs and memorabilia on every surface, including the ceiling, restrooms, and the menus. The whole vibe is traditional, conservative Americana. The service is very, very pleasant and they seem eager to please. Three of us ordered two salads and an egg plate. One salad arrived with the wrong mix of ingredients and slightly undercooked grilled chicken (they did not charge us for this and happily replaced it after a long delay), but the other salad was fine/OK, except for the bottled dressing. The egg dish was pretty good. If you visit, I recommend you skip the salads and order a traditional breakfast plate.

Have eaten here twice, and both times the food was very good and very large portions. They have a really large menu. Would like to come with friend to share a plate and hang out; it is chill and the waitress was friendly. This pic is the country fried stake with eggs and potatoes ($14 before tip)

The Valley omettte with veggies was exactly what I needed to fuel another day of wine tasting. Cute decor and great service. And you gotta get the biscuits and gravy with breakfast.

This has become a favorite weekend breakfast spot for me and my wife. Great service and good food. I am particularly fond of the eggs Benedict while my wife loves the omelettes. The place is small and offers indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating and small, homie feel are really nice. The outdoor seating is important to us because we like to be able to take our dog with us and the relatively small and not overly crowded space makes us feel comfortable having our pet with us.

This place doesn’t exist anymore. There’s a place by another name in the same shopping center, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Their “biscuits and gravy”were pancakes covered in cream of mushroom soup, with bits of sausage. The hash browns were bland except for the bitterness that came from over cooking them to the dryest consistency I’ve ever had.

After having tried almost every place in town that serves breakfast, I found this place on trip advisor and I have to say I’m very impressed. Food is good and a decent price, atmosphere is great you will be staring at all the stuff on the wall and ceiling reading everything. This is actually one of the first places I’ve been to in a long time were I leave feeling full after eating. The only downside is they are a smaller dinner and they need another bus boy to clear the tables quicker. There were dishes everywhere the whole time I was here.
