SO much I can say but I will say this, I thought I’d experienced good organic/vegetarian places to eat until having lunch at Greenfare. A lot of places have menus with good options but still have a fast food atmosphere? You know? Lunch at Greenfare turned into an experience. The food was AMAZING. The service was friendly and transparent. Thank you Jen! AND I was able to get some info on sound therapy services in the area. Lunch turned into a confirmation so I’m grateful. A must if your in the area.

I left the airport hungry and in search of a healthy vegan lunch. Within 20 minutes, I arrived at GreenFare. Upon walking in I saw the books and bakery items at the counter. I was intrigued. Then I sat down and started to order. There was a great variety of selections from apps to entrees and desserts.

Enjoyed an incredible meal without feeling guilty about what I ate. I love how each dish has so many wonderful ingredients in it. Make sure to order the lava cake for dessert made with red beans and dates. It’s better than the unhealthy ones and you won’t be able to tell the difference.

I was visiting town on business and decided to stop in and check this place out. Very friendly staff. They took the time to ask if I was new to plant based/vegan eating and asked questions about my tastes to make recommendations. In the end I couldn’t decide because I wanted to try so many different things so I asked them to just surprise me and ended up with a fantastic meal.

I had a great experience here tonight during “Pizza Night” where for $25/person, you get all-you-can-eat salad, pizza slices (three different kinds), and kombucha (three different flavors).

My server was excellent! It is so rare and wonderful when employees exude the values that a business stands for. The food was good, definitely the freshest food I’ve had at a restaurant that wasn’t raw. To be clear, I dislike lava cake in general, but when I saw that the one sold here was a red bean lava cake, I had to try it just to see what it could possibly taste like. It caused a foodgasm of epic proportions! This cake is worth the wait. It takes a while to prepare, so if you’re thinking of trying it out, let your server know asap. I wish I could give this business more than 5 stars. Not only does it offer delicious, healthy meals, but it teaches you how to make them yourself, how to change your life for the better. “If you teach a man to fish…” I’m already looking forward to my next trip to the area so that I can come back to this wonderful, wonderful place.

Overall a great experience. Service was friendly and informative, since I’m new to a PBD diet, but it took a while to get my food. Probably a result of everything being from scratch, so that made it just fine. I had to add salt here and there, also fine, since my body is still craving salty things. Decor wise, place felt a little coffee shop-y and could have made it more intimate for dinner. Good prices. Didn’t try dessert, which also seemed a bit pricey ($8-10). Entrees in the $12-18 range.

Stopped by while passing through the area. Overall the meal was overpriced and underwhelming. The jackfruit sandwich was tender and had a decent flavor, but it still felt lacking for the price, especially given the dry sandwich bun. The sweet potato fries were flavorless and unseasoned. They didn’t pair well with the ketchup, which tasted like tomato sauce from a can. Pictured is the tofu side which was undercooked; the starch coating was still mushy. Two stars because the restaurant is solely plant-based and the actual jackfruit was flavorful.

Good but expensive vegan food (for multiple trips). Great for special occasions. They are certified organic which is always good. There ingredients were fresh and delicious. They also have a rotating seasonal menu, i love that aspect.

I was so disappointed with the lasagna I got at the fair in Bethesda last weekend. It was $9, way overpriced in my opinion for a tiny portion, had no taste, and the noodles were way overcooked. Also not sure why the people looked at me like I was from another planet and like I was disturbing them.
