Prepare to wait around 20 to 25 minutes of wait if you are dining in on a Friday night. This restaurant is a local favorite in Huntington Beach. We didn’t have any reservation so when we walked in around 6: 30 we just have to wait 25 minutes. The host and server were courteous and prompt. Food tasted okay. My husband liked the complimentary garlic bread. Spaghetti bolognese was good but the calamari fritti was a bit chewy. Overall it’s a homey restaurant and our stomach were full of good food.

I would give it a 5 star, but I called to see if reservations were required, and the person on the phone said it probably wasn’t necessary. When we got to the restaurant, we had to wait, and we noticed that reservations were being seated. I asked the manager, and he said that it’s always a good idea to reserve a table. I think he needs to have his staff send the same message. Training issue.

Cute, quaint, quality restaurant. You can tell it’s a family establishment and the staff seemed to truly care about your dining experience. Some of the flavor of the dishes missed the mark for me. I really enjoyed the Mangia Mangia Chicken, though. That was on point!! I would recommend to try, but don’t be afraid to add your own salt and pepper to taste.

That place was recommended by a friend, when he had heard we are moving to Huntington Beach. Thanks for the recommendation first of all. It was very busy at around 6pm, when we got there, which is often a good first impression. We also didn’t have to wait longer than 10 min. We tried a pasta dish and a chicken dish. Both servings came with a side of soup or salad. Everything was delicious and our server was very friendly and nice. Go try it out. You will enjoy the experience.
