This is by far one of the best Mexican places I’ve been to, food taste amazing. We have the small tacos Al pastor, tostada de carne and torta al pastor all dishes were excellent. The horchata the best I’ve ever had. The restaurant is small and only have 3 tables but it worth it. Really clean and sanitized.

A cozy little Mexican restaurant with a lot of charm. There are only 3 dine in tables, one of which is decorative so probably on two. We had a craving for tacos so came here after looking up some reviews and the distance. We weren’t impressed with the flavor of the steak, chicken or pork taco combinations we ordered. Basically no flavor. The rice and beans were okay. The guava soda and table service was fantastic.

The posole it was good new taste for me Lil bit spicy but was good the quantity of the food was good consistency of the soup was good taste was good they have few good items in the menu they have breakfast, lunch,and dinner server was Lil bit busy with phone lines and carrieout oder she came to check on as ones from of all time we was there but was friendly I still give the tom’s up for this place price is affordable try it out if you like hot spicy food oh but of way they have vegetarian meal there for those they don’t like meat.

Easily one of the best mini restaurants in town. Sitting in an old family building built some generations back(possibly as early as the 1930’s?) this family owned mexican restaurant preserves the small town eatery atmosphere and charm you just don’t see anywhere else in Hicksville anymore. The owners are also some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. They even occasionally attend the Hicksville Gregory Museum’s summer markets from time to time where I discovered how legendary their food is. I strongly recommend this place! Freshest ingredients!

This place had 4.3 stars when we went there and that’s why we chose to go there. The food was literally disgusting. I really hate being a Karen but I’m fine with being one when totally necessary. I paid $38.99 for two chilaquiles and they gave me something that had no style, no sense of presentation and no taste. It looks like they used the taco meat for the chilaquiles and everything else was just thrown on top. The sour cream was watery and had no sense of consistency. At one point I really feared getting sick from eating what I ate and the service was not what I expected. The only good thing about this place was the music and perhaps the fried egg I got on top with the meal (which I ate).

Great mexican taqueria with really tasty tacos! The chicken and shrimp tacos were awesome.Perfectly seasoned and cooked.Their house sauces are the major highlight! Both are hot and delicious.This is a small place right next to main road and parking can be an issue.However the food is spot on and really authentic.Will definitely be back for more.
