My partner and I came here for an anniversary dinner and had the chefs tasting menu, which was INCREDIBLE. Well worth the price, and the perfect amount of truly delicious and well-prepared food. The area around here is also stunning, and great for a post-meal walk. Highly recommend Barn8, especially the chefs tasting menu!

Barn8 Farmhouse Restaurant and Bourbon Bar is located in beautiful Goshen, KY. If you plan on dining here, I recommend making reservations. You’ll find they have an event venue, gift shop, greenhouse, restaurant, walking trail, and more. The service was very good. However, their menu selections may not appeal to everyone. I recommend checking out their menu online first, but keep in mind it changes seasonally. As for the food, we were somewhat disappointed. The prices are above average, portions small (except for the salad), and the taste is very lacking. All in all, it’s a beautiful place that’s worth checking out, but the food was just average at best.

The place and the ambiance was really nice. It was a very unique dining experience and our server was attentive but I was not a fan of the food.

Food, service and atmosphere were all great. We enjoyed everything we tried there! Only thing perplexing was the owner talked to every table there as he was making rounds except ours. I assume he just didn’t like us, but other than that, highly recommend this place.

What a wonderful place! The setting on a working thoroughbred farm was beautiful. Eat dinner, walk around, see the horses and gardens. They grow a lot of the veggies/herbs/etc. right there at the farm. Food prepared perfectly with a small but well crafted menu. Cocktail menu had some unique offerings. Photos are the cucumber appetizer (amazing), trout (this was only half the serving since we split), and homemade shrimp pasta (also half serving; also amazing). Oh and we sat in a horse stall for dinner!

Discovered Barn8 during the pandemic when I’d often stop to eat and buy extra to take home. Discovered the Art Walk then, too, and was eager this trip to test low-light capabilities of a new phone camera. And treat a friend to dinner.

The atmosphere was interesting but the service was mediocre. The menu was unique but somewhat disappointing. It was very expensive. They sat the wrong dessert next to me, and I tasted it before I realized it wasn’t mine. Even though it was their mistake and we informed them, they charged me for it and the dessert I ordered which was nervy considering how much we spent in our large party. While the place is worth seeing, I wouldn’t go back or strongly recommend it.

We went there twice within four days we liked it so much. I had the pork loin first night and loved it. I had the red Fish the second night and loved it even more. Fabulous setting. Enjoyed the walk and light show too.

The pork chop and redfish were very good. The pasta dishes, including the spaghetti were quite poor in very much over cooked.
