We’ve been voted best wings in town many times, and the reason for this is we buy only the best and freshest wings; they are never frozen. Our boneless wings are the customer’s favorite, and should be since we invented them!

Abe’s’ Tap and Wing House on Missouri Ave consistently has some of the best boneless wings! Always get the Buffalo Chicken salad and husband gets 1/2 pound of honey barbecue “sloppy” over curly fries. Great atmosphere with big screen TVs to watch just about any sport event. They even have outdoor seating where you can enjoy a drink and a breeze in the evening.

Came here for wings and was not disappointed. This is what you want when you think of buffalo wings. It’s definitely one of the best traditional style buffalo wings I’ve had. The mozzarella sticks were great not just the run of the mill frozen stuff, they had an awesome flavor. You also have the choice of getting the wings breaded to which is nice to have the that option. The blackened wings were also delicious. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for wings

I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I ordered my regular drink & was charged $29 which is about $7 more than anywhere else. That’s not the kicker though. When I approached the server in regards to this, she said she understands and that’s substantially more than what she’s paid elsewhere as well. She offered to get the “manager”, which I obliged. Upon speaking to Clayton, I explained my situation and without any regards to me, he cut me short and threatened to call the police if I refused to pay. I told him I no longer wanted that drink, because I ordered 2 before getting the price and had an untouched drink that I no longer wanted. The other manager that stood side by side and witnessed this whole confrontation said and I quote, “I will have a talk with him”. Literally everyone else working in this establishment acknowledged how out of pocket this “service” worker responded to a paying customer. But wait! It gets better. Clayton sat and spoke with me for a while, after a somewhat reasonable conversation he offered to give me a discount on my food because “he cannot touch alcohol charges”. I gave him my card and he didn’t even do that. So not only is he disrespectful past belief he is also a liar.

I had blackened fish and broccoli. It was good. I requested no rice but there it was. The kitchen said they wouldn’t take it off unless there was an allergy. Bit my husband ordered a burger with no bun. He’d broken his denture and couldn’t bite through it. They made that accommodation without allergy. Other than that it was good and service was good.

After a long day at the beach and millions of UV rays, the family was very hungry and needed food. Google selected this place for us and we took the 25 minute drive from the beach. Abes has plenty of parking yet look out for the food truck that is next to the restaurant. You wait to be seated in an open dinning area. The restaurant has a sports theme and is surrounded with large screen TV’s. As you would infer, it’s a bar food menu. The starving group ate burgers, Philly, chips and salsa, and this lobster man had clam chowder with wings. When I asked for 12 wings I had a dissertation on why I could only have one sauce. When our server explained the options of breading or no breading on the wings and only one sauce I felt I was on the SNL show with John Belushi, burger no burger cheeseburger. I was so tired and burned by the sun I didn’t care. Well I felt it and yup as expected low quality food. The clam chowder warm and very think. The wings were warm and the 2 side sauces didn’t add much to the taste of warm chicken. The kids were hungry ate up their meals. With the chips and salsa, you could add queso for $1 in a small bowl which was not good. Our server was a nice lady yet wasn’t helped by the kitchen. Don’t think the Bar Rescue guy would be good to this place. I paid with Discover card and was told we don’t do Discover. The bill was $83 plus tip. If you are coming in from out of town, I’d say avoid this place you’ll do better at a fast food place.

Great place. Especially if you are from the Midwest and miss the Midwest style of cooking and those large portions you get up north at a reasonable price. Burgers straight up cooked to your request and flavorful. Chili that is meaty and tomato based with a good hearty flavor and served in a proper sized cup or bowl. A salad that also is fresh and proper sized. Wings that are the best you will find in Pinellas County if you seek a proper sized wing. Go for the breaded wings for proper Midwest style. It’s a thing of love! The only miss here is spotty service at times and the fries really need upgraded. Upgrade the fries and service and 5 stars would have happened.
