Fat Tone
Pictured was mozz pizza and calzone. That’s a small calzone… Its massive and very good. Pizza was good but not comparable to the pizza places in New Haven. Also, had a little hiccup with the place. But I’d say this pizza is a top for the Branford area. I’d give the pizza a 7.6.

Dead a**, might be the best pizza in CT. I’ve tried the best spots in New Haven, Stamford, Norwalk, and I’m not going to pretend that I’ve tried the majority of pizzerias in CT, but this is the best I’ve had in the two years I’ve lived here. Strongly recommend this spot to all my fellow displaced New Yorkers.

Love this place. My family has been getting great food from them for over 18 years. Their pizzas are perfectly cooked every time. Lots of toppings. Love there wings, pastas, garlic breads ect. Never had a mistake on any orders. The owners and other employees are awesome and supper friendly! We got a lot of complements on their food, that we ordered, for my daughter graduation party! Its a family friendly place you can trust!

Good price for quantity here. Stuffed breads are not cut and could probably use a few extra minutes in the oven (I’m sure they would do it if you asked.) hot sauce is actually spicy unlike most other restaurants. Owner is also a great guy. I would recommend this place.

Having grown up in New York, I’m very — VERY — picky when it comes to pizza and Italian fare. Da Carmine’s is the best pizza we’ve had in Connecticut, hands down. It is akin to the best traditional New York pizza. Their pasta dishes and breads are absolutely delicious as well. Unassuming little strip mall pizza place really packs a punch. Try their pizza, you won’t regret it.

The pizza isn’t bad, but I’m a New Yorker so my standards are really high. I ordered a small mozzarella pie for 8.00 and in my opinion it was on a quality level with the dollar slice places you find around Manhattan. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here, but I also wouldn’t be opposed to eating here again. 3.5 Stars.

Pleasantly surprised how good this pizza was during a quick pitstop on my way to RI. Pizza had the taste of authentic brick oven pizza. Crust was great, nice and hot and prices were great. Staff was over friendly and a great spot for dine in our take out
