Stopped in for happy hour cocktails this week. We started with happy hour Gimlets and a Moscow Mule. No complaints. Well made and tasty. We then tried some of the house specialty cocktails. Sadly, I can’t recall the name of the drink my wife had but it was REALLY good. I had a lemongrass concoction that was not as good as my wife’s drink but was still very satisfying and easy to drink. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The actual bar is very impressively big and the drink menu offered something for everyone. I wish we had stayed for dinner! Next time we’re in town, for sure.

It’s a bar that serves food. I am vegan and it was late at night and the kitchen had closed. The bar manager and other staff members did everything in their power to find me food in the kitchen so that I would not go to bed hungry. They found popcorn and hummus and didn’t charge me. I had several drinks, that were absolutely deliciously hand crafted by the bar manager down to the ice cube which was hand chiseled to fit my glasse which demonstrated the service and pride the employees have for their work. I highly recommend this bar for the quality of drinks and atmosphere which is very unassuming but classy.

This is a fun, casual place to enjoy a very unique menu. The cocktails were very delicious, and were all very unique and intriguing. The food menu was similarly unusual. We really enjoyed the Bonemarrownara meatballs. This is a hot spot for 20-30 year olds to have a night out, but is also a great place for anyone who loves interesting food and cocktail options.

The best Expresso Martini! Had the PoBoy and the fried oysters were spot on;delicate, light and cooked perfectly, fries were hot and crispy and the truffle seasoning was great. Fish and chips was also perfect. Fried perfectly, light and flaky, the coleslaw was crispy and delicious

This is a great spot to either start or end your evening. They have some really neat, creative hand held. The staff is always very friendly but if you’re looking for a quiet evening out, this is not your place this is a fun filled Good time out on the town.

Tasty food and spiffy cocktails, good for a date night! We came here for restaurant week and had a good time, though nothing extraordinary. The watermelon salad appetizer was packed with flavor and very beautifully arranged. The white pizza app was also really good, just the right amount of cheese. For entrees, my favorite was the pork shank, which is this huge bone-in tender piece of meat, with an incredible apple sauce! The lobster risotto was good too, but nothing compared to the shank. For dessert, we had the creme brulee, which was way too sweet for my taste, but my husband enjoyed it. Overall a good experience and attentive service.

Have you ever spot in Portsmouth for cocktails and appetizers. The bar staff really knows their stuff and can mix up a wide range of classic cocktails- even those that you don’t normally find on a menu. Food is good and there are some nice heavy appetizers while you enjoy your drink and chatting with a friend. Even the other patrons who just stop in for a drink are easy to talk to. All in all, it’s a good vibe and a great place to hang out

We arranged a birthday reception at The Wilder and could not have been more happy. Making plans with Chynna Ratter, the GM, was simple, upbeat, and efficient. She was able to accommodate specific requests with a hassle-free ease and made the reserved space look spectacular. Unique and delicious bubbly in every corner, food creatively placed with aesthetic labeling, servers omnipresent and unobtrusive at the same time. They nailed it. Every guest commented on the venue, food, and cocktails. And most importantly, the birthday gal had a wonderful, memorable evening. Thanks!!

We loved our server but the bouncer was extremely rude and confrontational for no reason. The espresso martinis were really good. We probably won’t go again because of the service when we first walked in the door.

Great place for a cocktail. Would have been 5 stars if their coolers didn’t freeze over
