Normally Mexican restaurants are known for good food and great value. However tonight was not the case. Gorditas and tamales were very very dry. Plates were small and should have been 8 or 9 dollars for the amount but instead it was 15 dollars a plate. In a town with many other Mexican restaurant options, go elsewhere.

As a trucker its hard to get food that is fresh and hot however…Everything we had was delicious. The server was really nice as well. The tacos was our favorite. The place is very clean and up-to-date. Definitely worth stopping by. We even got food to-go.

When we arrived at the restaurant, it was obvious they were busy and understaffed. Even still, we were greeted promptly and told it would be about a 30 minute wait. We waited in the casino. We came back in the restaurant and waited a few minutes longer. Again, being recognized for our wait. Our server was very apologetic for our wait, he was friendly and very attentive. The nachos and fajitas were delicious!!! The mango margarita is so amazing. And the Pina colada is so good! I’d say this was a wonderful visit, even with only 2 staff, and a restaurant full! We will definitely be back!

Friendly customer service and their caldo de camarón was very good. I custom ordered mine with vegetables and fish and they had no problem adding that. The restaurant is located inside a casino, you can just walk out to it. It has a nice bar with big TV’s.

I’m a truck driver from El Paso Texas where we are known for our Mexican food. After reading previous reviews I decided I would walk 1/3 mike to see if reviews were accurate. One of my favorite Mexican dishes is mole and is very difficult to find restaurants that not only make it from scratch but is authentic. Needless to say I am happy I decided to walk, it was top 5 mole recipes I’ve had! The chicken so fall apart tender and full of flavor in its own was the perfect vehicle for the mole sauce. The place is very clean, service was excellent and friendly! It was so delicious I ordered fajitas to go. I did not realize it but truck drivers get 15% discount. I will be back every time I drive through Reno!

We went to Las Palmas tonight for our daughter’s birthday. We had so much fun!!! Mario was our server and he did an excellent job. The food was delicious. Daughter loved her carnitas torta and my chili relleño was so good. And the best part was Mario and Paco brought her out a fried ice cream with a candle after our meal. They are played a Hispanic happy birthday recorded song and they cranked it up so that everyone could there could hear it. Then Paco knew how to do a sound which sounded like Fourth of July missiles going off. They just made her birthday so festive and so fun. We just love this restaurant and Mario and Paco just took it over the top with there enthusiasm. I highly recommend Las Palmas.

Everything was PERFECTO! The chips and salsa were some of the best. Salsa was robust and had layers of flavor. It does have a kick of spice to it, but I like spicy foods. The Cadillac margarita was my favorite cocktail, but all the drinks I had were delicious. For my main course I had the Birria de Res and it was everything I expected and more. All food and drinks were authentic and delicious, and good portions. Service was on point and friendly. All staff I spoke with were fluent in both English and Spanish. I will be back.
