I leave this review with a heavy heart. Ts Ma has been my go to for lunch or dinner for the last 5 or so years. This restaurant was recommended to me from an old boss in which I recommended to many others in the Montclair area. The owner and staff inside of the restaurant are always very friendly and professional however, the delivery drivers are the worst.

Great food, but this location changed to take out and delivery only with COVID and stayed that way. So for takeout, it is high quality ingredients, not greasy, and generally a few steps ahead of a typical Chinese food restaurant. Dinner entrees generally start at $20 (with a few exceptions). Website says up to 1.5 hour wait, but I have never had to wait over 15-20 minutes. Very satisfying!

Always friendly and professional staff, as well as prompt service! I’ve ordered the General Tso’s lunch special from here several times and the food is always fresh & delicious, and they only use all white meat chicken. Portions and pricing are reasonable, the restaurant is always clean and organized. Take out or delivery only at the moment. Also, I received a slight discount for paying with cash.

Based on the wonderful reviews, I decided to go there to have a sit down meal but to my disappointment, it’s only a take out place. I didn’t get a chance to try any of the food. Because of the great reviews and convincing photos, especially the soup dumplings with the thin wrap (authentic soupy dumplings), I’ll still give it 4 stars to not adversely affect the business but they really need to open it up for service. Otherwise, the restaurant description should indicate that it’s only for takeout food.

Delicious Chinese food! Best I’ve had in a long time. Soups are delicious and not salty. The portions are big enough for sharing. Sesame chicken was crispy and delicious. Shrimp with walnuts had great flavor. If you’re in the mood for Chinese food, this is the place.

Great place to order take out Chinese food. Slightly more expensive than typical take out Chinese but you get higher quality food. Basically you get what you pay for. Very efficient and streamlined pick up system.

BEST CHINESE TAKEOUT I have ever had. They have all the usual dishes and definitely some different stuff too. So many healthy options too, if you are trying to be good. Some of our faves are the Tangerine Tofu, Crispy Chicken Szechuan, Mei Fun Noodles, Beef Teryaki Skewers and the Garlic Ginger Bok Choy.
