I recently ordered from this Indian restaurant and was extremely disappointed with the quality of food and service. The food was drenched in oil, to the point where it was more oil than actual food. When I tried to bring this up with the chef, they had a terrible attitude and refused to acknowledge any mistake on their part. Instead, they argued that this was simply how restaurant food is, and that I should have specifically requested less oil if I wanted a healthier meal.

Every time we come here.. it’s always good. The ambience was very well done, a gracious host and above all the food!! It was finger licking good. It’s the best vegetarian food that we’ve had in a long time!! Keep up the good taste guys!! We will be going back many more times to try the entire menu out!!

This is one of those places which you will not come across unless you are actually looking for it. With you being on this page makes me realize that you were indeed looking :). The ambience is amazing and the food tastes excellent. If you are craving north indian dishes and want a slightly different experience to being on oak tree road then definitely give it a go. It is also a BYOB for those who are interested. Beware that the wait times for getting certain dishes are sometimes really long (they let you know though) and as mentioned by others charging gratuity for even a party of 2 is uncommon. There is plenty of street parking by the restaurant. Food is definitely delicious and ambience fantastic. What are you waiting for? Go eat already

Ordered takeout ( Mix Veg Subzi , garlic naan) was ready in 20 minutes. Pick up was quick, food tasted very fresh and homemade. Will Def be trying again soon. Highly recommend! 🙂

I really love this restaurant, it’s a hidden gem in NJ. The food is extremely fresh and tasty. My husband and I did their cooking class and had a really nice experience. The food here is consistently good, and I honestly wouldn’t pay attention to any negative reviews because the quality speaks for itself. They are very accommodating when it comes to spice/oil level. The food is cooked fresh, unlike certain restaurants who serve frozen pre made food.

My friend from England and I stopped here on our way from Newark. We were very impressed with the quality of the food. The fact that one has to wait a bit for the food is a sign that everything is made fresh and to order! The chicken tandoori was a highlight for us as it was apparent that the spices were fresh and that the kitchen was generous with the quantity of ingredients in the mixture. This is a place for people who want to taste traditional northern Indian cuisine. It’s not watered down for the American palate and we appreciated that very much.
