I’m overwhelmed with joy from finding an AUTHENTIC Szechuan/Sichuan place in the Valley! A restaurant in Valley Village closed its doors and it ached my heart.

I stopped in for a random lunch break and wow! The food was really good, the passion fruit tea was refreshing and I have a lot left over for another meal, so good value as well! I’m

This place is a hidden gem and hole in the wall. They offer a variety of food – Szechuan style and not. The portions come out huge and the prices are reasonable. Definitely a good place to go for groups and have a family style meal. Delicious

Dined-In first time here. Seated immediately. Ordered the Dan-Dan Wontons (my favorite), Black Pepper Beef Short Ribs (hubby’s favorite), Fish in Black Bean Sauce, Chow Fun with Shrimp. All delicious! The booths had convection heating plates for Hot Pots (next time!) and the larger round tables had lazy Susan’s for sharing. Service was excellent. ❤️❤️

I tried the tookpick Lamb. It was yummy. I liked that it didn’t have sauce but it was flavorful. I will be coming back to try some other dishes.

Wonderful Service with young energetic staff. The food was superb. Appetizers, Cold dishes, Eight Hot Soups to pick from plus over a dozen Noodle Soups. A huge variety of traditional and house special Szechuan Entrees. Fantastic homemade Chili Sauce. Easy to park.

Delicious Szechuan food. They also have a Cantonese and Chinese-American menu, but we definitely recommend the Szechuan dishes in general.

Ordered delivery with a service. Food arrived fresh and still warm. Food was unfortunately underwhelming. The beef in the Mongolian beef dish used the cheep chewy type meet, with an abundance of onions, that I didn’t mind, but the spouse did very much. The Scallion pancake was mediocre at best, lacked flavor. Its dipping sauce was off and extra salty. Surprisingly so, the chicken fried rice lacked flavor. It had nearly as much flavor as plain white rice. The “sauteed vegetables” was only bok choy. It was good, crunchy, and flavorful. Probably the best thing I happened to order, but it shouldn’t be called sauteed vegetables. At all. I will not order from here again and will continue the strenuous journey in finding good Chinese food north of San Diego.

Szechuan Place has among the best Chinese food that can be found in the SFV, maybe even all of LA. The friendly atmosphere and good prices have made it a personal favorite of mine.

My friends and I stopped by here after getting our suits measurements for my wedding. We got to the place right when they open so we were their first customer to dine in. I went with the Mongolian Beef, my friends got the orange chicken and one of their noodle dish. Our food came out pretty quick. I thought the Mongolian Beef had too much soy sauce and the portion wasn’t that much. I got more onion than meat but I understand with the current situation we’re in. My friend orange chicken was good and my other friend like his noodle soup. The plaza that this restaurant is in can get busy later in the day.
