A really nice looking restaurant, and very nice and friendly staff. The waitress made sure we had everything we needed and even was nice enough to take a group picture of all of us outside. The food, to me, was not all that impressive. The burger was ok, but not very flavorful and the fries just kind of reminded me of a plain frozen fry. The best part for me, was actually the appetizer. I got the pretzels and pub cheese, and they were very tasty and well done. The food is not bad, but for the cost, I expected much better as a whole.

Before you eat here, know that there’s a 20% gratuity added to your check. I found this kind of off puting. I tip very well when i go out to eat. I really dont need it added to my bill. Thats why only 3 stars. The food was great, service was great. But i probably won’t choose this place in the future.

Felt the portions were small. Filet was dry and not much flavor. My sirlion was much better, but very small, compared to other6 oz steaks I’ve had. The sirloin and shrimp means 3 shrimp. The sides were delicious. This was our first time visiting, so we’ll be back. Hopefully will be able to improve the rating.

We came here for dinner and sat at the bar. Our bartender was very friendly. We had a few appetizers. We had the shrimp appetizer. Oh my goodness was that broth good. We also had the cauliflower wings. I liked that because it had a nice fried coating on the outside. For dinner I enjoyed their lemon chicken and thought it was perfectly spice. Great night. Not too expensive and good food.

The lobster pizza was very good. The brussel sprouts were awesome. I love the atmosphere of the downstairs dining area. It is reminiscent of an old speak easy.

Service was above and beyond great, from the host, waitress, and food server. I had the Philly cheesesteak and fries. I’ve been to Philly and have eaten at Geno’s and Pat’s. This was way better than theirs and right here in Ohio. Oh and blueberry cheesecake for dessert (to go of course because I was stuffed) Highly recommend.

Waitress was pleasant enough. That said- Our appetizer, the sauerkraut balls were burned on the outside, doughy and cold on the inside. My husband got the barbecue chicken rice bowl- the food was cold. I ordered a wedge salad with chicken- salad was fine; the chicken was very chewy and did not taste fresh. Our overall feeling was that the food we were eating has been reheated and was absolutely not fresh. I asked the waitress if my chicken would be grilled- she said yes. If it was grilled- it was days ago or not at all. We are new to the area- and eat out a lot. Beef O’Brady’s was excellent this week as well as Jerry’s Cafe in Orrville. The next time we are in the area we will try Basil or The Leaf. This was mediocre at best.

A nice selection of surf and turf. The wait staff is knowledgeable, gracious and friendly. If you are looking for a place where you can talk (date night, business meeting, etc.), this is the best place in town, as the background music is very light and the acoustics are quite good.
