As a tourist, we didn’t plan to eat here for dinner but we found ourselves in the rain and desperate for dinner. We ducked into the little unassuming spot and were happy with the quality of the fish. No frills but reasonably priced. The miso soup was perfect in rainy weather.

The miso soup was good . The food was quick but the sushi wasn’t the best. The price is descent so I guess you get what you pay for. This could of been a cute little sushi spot if the hospitality wasn’t horrible. The waiter doesn’t even greet you with a smile. Me and my friend did not feel welcomed at all.

When I received the delivery, I found these in my box. Looks like someone threw up in the box and food is scattered all over the place. This is how it looks in delivery box. I didn’t touch anything.

I really really wanted to like this place because it’s such a quick affordable place in the East Village. Unfortunately the second time I went, my brother ordered dumplings and they came out with a HUGE piece of really fuzzy mold on the side. We finished the meal and paid, but I won’t ever be going back here :/

This is my local go to, it’s nothing fancy just really good quality, prepared fresh, sashimi and rolls at really reasonable prices. I admit I don’t come for the deep fried food – for that I got to a ramen spot. The tempura roll & salmon sashimi are my favourite.

I don’t normally do this but that was one of the worst sushi I’ve ever had – saddest rolls with barley any rice on them and the tuna looked off. I couldn’t finish it. However, the avocado salad was good and the waitress was nice.

I’m only rating this a two because the waitress was nice. If you are interested in eating tough sushi and hard rice, and mind you lots of rice, then this is the place for you! Maybe the salmon sashimi was ok, but overall, probably one of the worst sushi experiences I’ve had in my life (taste wise). Perhaps that’s why it’s moderately affordable? This is why people don’t like sushi because of places like these. If you’re a first timer don’t do it.
