If you want the best Italian food and the best service, you must go here. Everything is as fresh as could be and and the staff welcomes you and treats you like family. This place has an amazing ambiance. I also order take out from them. Portions are generous and the selection is great. Perfect local spot with phenomenal food. Come hungry you won’t be let down!

Went as a last minute choice on a Saturday night. We had no reservations, but they seated right away. The staff was very friendly and courteous. We shared a white pizza, they are famous for it. We followed that with a shared mesclun salad with cranberries, walnuts and gorgonzola. It was excellent.

Visited Sal’s for a midweek family luncheon. Nice antipastos to share, including zucchini and sausage, calamari, and a platter. Several choices for entree including salmon, chicken, pork, and pasta. The Mason Jar Bloody Marys were an interesting presentation (mine with an orange garnish; my wife’s with lemon), but they tasted great.

New ownership is trash! It’s not Sal’s anymore, the family atmosphere is completely gone. This man treats staff (who has been at sals for YEARS) like dogs who have nothing on him, the soul purpose of my family coming here was the staff and the friendly and warm feeling you would get from each of them. Food is expensive and just doesn’t taste the same without that family feeling and it is sad. It now taste like over priced cafeteria lunch. Never EVER will my family or myself be coming back and I’m glad staff knows each of their worth and is out of there! And to the new owner, what goes around comes right back around. Good luck to new staff who has to deal with a moron like that.
