The food was incredible! The best Mexican food we’ve had in the Charleston area! The margaritas and tacos were amazing The atmosphere was fine. We sat outside (the restaurant has a small inside area)- then it started raining/storming. We sat under a covered area- but the sideways rain still made it slightly damp. The staff brought out extra napkins and towels in case we needed them due to the rain. The reason for our 3 star service score is due to waiting over 10 minutes for a server to greet us and over 30 minutes to receive our 1st drink order.

Wow! What a gem! Absolutely delicious plates and some of the best drinks in town. The interior design is super attractive and stunning. Also, the Chef behind it all is a mastermind at his art. Thank you for a great experience and I WILL be back.. promise ya that!

Food and atmosphere good. Server suggested changing the tequila in the Paloma, but neglected to say there would be a $7 up charge. $13 drink went to $21 without warning. A credit card surcharge was added to our bill prior to us paying and despite the fact that we were planning to pay with cash. Not rushing back because of the lack of transparency.

The food and service were good. It was way over-priced. Street tacos, one shared app, one shared dessert, 3 drinks. 3.5% credit card fee. $240 for four people. Yikes.

Try the fresh fish specials. We went with the Red Snapper and it was amazing. Fresh guacamole and chips fantastic. The Star of the show is the hot sauces , especially the Pineapple Habanero.

The food was really not bad. But the service… one waiter 2 tables (including mine, just eating by myself and the other with just a couple), it was slow, unattentive, she didn’t mention that they charge 3 dollars for salsa (brought without a spoon…) , and 1 dollar for a corn tortilla! (Not even Enrique Olvera dares to such a thing). The prices were disproportionate for these items, but most importantly, they were not brought to my attention beforehand. I was there at the “happy hour”, I didn’t observe any benefit on my bill.

Have been several times. Cocktails outstanding and solid menu all around. But the burger special on Wednesday night is outstanding. You will not be disappointed.

We lived in Mexico for a couple years and are always trying to find good authentic Mexican food. Found it here. The queso fundido, fish tacos, shrimp tacos and the calamari appetizer were absolutely delicious. Had a great margarita and the Mexican chocolate pudding… wow ! Will be back !

I had the Carne Asada tacos and they were super delicious! Tender and well seasoned meat with fresh ingredients. Recommended

Some of the best, if not the best, Mexican food I’ve had in the area. The tacos pastor and carne asada were exceptional and the guac and chips were amazing. Papas bravas are maybe the best potatoes I’ve ever had – haven’t had anything quite like them before. Didn’t really know this place was there until we ate at Wood & Grain. Somewhat of a hidden gem. Looking forward to going back soon.
