My husband found this place on TikTok! When I tell you they have the best soul food! We dined in and the atmosphere was amazing. They have jazz playing and intimate tables, perfect for a nice date. They also serve Daiquiri’s but I don’t drink so I didn’t indulge. I had ox tails, yams, black eye peas, cornbread, cabbage, and mac and cheese. My husband had catfish, fries, and shrimp. We enjoyed a nice spread and every morsel was good. This is a nice place to come when you want some real good food. Needless to say we both had a great time. They also have a drive through and take out if you are in a hurry. Everything is cooked to order! You have to try it and decide for yourself!!

Food was piping hot with pot liquor, meat falling off the bone, good seasoning and all. Few things I would change is to let the oil drain off of the catfish tails, a little less salt in the cabbage, and let the mac cook a little longer. Other than that the food was bussin! Will be back for more, oxtail’s were bomb !

Hold my mule!!!! This food is soooooo good! Oxtails falling off the bones and large portions, Mac and cheese is extra creamy, cabbage is seasoned to perfection with the right texture! My cousin had fish, fries, and added a side of Mac! Just go asap because they sell out!!

Got the Oxtail plate with a large strawberry lemonade!! Everything was good! Wish they would’ve had collard greens and sweet potatoes though.. the daiquiris are good here too, tried those the other day!

I must say, the food was pretty goo. The max and cheese was a bit too paste like/ clumpy but it wasn’t horrible as far as taste go. The daiquiri was definitely a hit. I’d get one every visit.

The food was hot and came quick, that’s about it. They was out of half the sides. The catfish was fried too hard and the grease tasted old. The cabbage had too much pepper. The greens were good. The daiquiri was nasty. The ranch wings were wet on the picture but dry when they gave them to us, decent flavor. I won’t be back

I had the lemon pepper chicken once and I really liked it, so I decided to try their garlic Parmesan chicken. Utterly disappointing, big difference between the two. DO NOT get the park chicken!!!!! They also ran out of muffins, how does that happen in a restaurant, lol. Plz work on the chicken as that is a staple of your business.

Was expecting so much more from this place. The oxtails were very tender but lacked flavor. They were out of catfish, so I didn’t get to try that. The fries were good, I got the lemon pepper chicken, and like most places, they weren’t all that lemon peppery flavored but they were cooked really well, maybe I just need to try a different flavor. The macaroni was very cheesy and cooked slightly different than the pictures that I saw. The cabbage was good, and the peach cobbler was okay. If I go back, I’d probably just try a different flavor of wings and maybe the catfish. The chicken egg rolls were good, but I think I was expecting them to be different as well. Like more of a homemade feel, they reminded me of one’s that you can get from the grocery store.
