I’m always amazed at these hometown places that aren’t that good but generate a cult following over the years.

The best Chicken spaghetti I’ve ever had! The best and only original Monjunis in town! My absolute guilty pleasure. Every cheat meal is spent here.

First time trying Monjunis and I was a bit disappointed. The food lack seasoning. The pasta sauce is heavily sweet. It felt like I could make something way better at home, but I gotten recommended by this restaurant. I had high hopes for the food, since they also have great reviews. The service was amazing, so I can’t complain about that. Overall, I would like to give Monjunis another try.

Chicken Caesar salad was ok but the chicken on top was dry and harder than the croutons. 12 piece ravioli appetizer is still on the menu but I was told I couldn’t order it because they only offer the 6 now (6 piece priced at $8.95). Waitress was very nice and refilled my drink without prompting. I’ve been to this location so many times and it just doesn’t seem the same quality as before.

Ordered eggplant parmesan to go. It was package nicely, but dry by the time we were able to get to it (several hours later). It had a high ratio of pasta to eggplant, about 4 to 1, and not enough sauce. It was tasty but too much pasta for the amount of eggplant. Saved most of the pasta for another dish. Left wanting more eggplant. The service was great and very friendly, and I felt welcomed. It appears the atmosphere is more set up for takeout.

I’m changing my review to include that since the original post the location has been on point every time I visited. The flavors are always good. The service is always fantastic and quick. This is our favorite location now! It is in a convenient location. I frequent Airline Dr. and I love Italian food! The fried ravioli is delicious and the house salad is the best ever!

Not good and a definite not again. This is our first time ordering from here. We ordered the spaghetti and lasagna. Both taste like a bag of sugar was dumped into it. There is a different in sweet sauce and a bag of sugar cubes.

I had heard nothing but good things about this restaurant so Wednesday when I was in Bossier I decided to give it a try. I have never been as disappointed in a meal as I was with that one. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and water with lemon. The spaghetti was under cooked and the meat sauce was so sweet it made me sick to my stomach. I prefer my sauce to taste like tomatoes instead of sugar. There was not even a hint of tomato in this sauce. The water was the worst water I have ever tried to drink. Two small sips and I was done. The bread wasn’t bad just a little hard, but when we got to the bottom of the basket there was a small piece with teeth marks on it. Needless to say I was very disappointed and I won’t be going back. I know the water wasn’t your fault but yes there were teeth marks on a small piece of bread. It was not an insinuation, it was a fact.

I came here as a tribute to my uncle. Monjunis Muffaletta’s was his dish. I got one and forgot how big it was. My husband and I had already prepared to share. We had food left over and was able to have it the next day. It is was tasty. They will definitely be on my list whenever I travel back.
