Excellent tortilla chips and posole. Yum! Service was fine. Loud Spanish music and Fox News on the TVs. It’s a warm & cheery atmosphere, though simple. Margarita specials on Fridays.

I had never been to this place. It was a nice visit. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Got to meet the owner and she was super sweet! The service was quick as well. Not a long wait at all. Also first time having a strawberry banana margarita which I had never had and it was delicious! Great recommendation from the bartender. The steak fajita nachos was very good and the portion size was excellent!

I’m not one to go totally negative about a restaurant, but this one is awful. I’ve tried to give it several opportunities to change my mind, but it is truly not at all good. The beef tacos taste like they forgot to season the meat, the chicken was extremely dry and tasted old. Like I said, they are consistently disappointing.

The food is not very good. In my opinion, this is a hole-in-the-wall bar that happens to serve “Mexican” food. The salsa had no spice at all. It tasted like watered down tomato sauce. The beans taste canned. The presentation/packaging is sloppy. If you want a place you can throw back a few drinks and eat something similar to food at the same time, this is it. Otherwise, just pass. On the upside, it’s pretty affordable.

It was way too expensive …the service was the worst I have had there. The food prep took 2 long… The tortillas were cooked 2 long 4 the tacos, they wouldn’t roll up. And our dessert took forever to get. Their grease needs changing cause u could taste it in my taco bowl & sopapillas. The waitress took way 2 long 2 refill our drinks. And it was my birthday. Very disappointed 4 what we paid.

This is a bar posing as a restaurant. It doesn’t appear to do either one very well. We ordered several items to go, none were good. The steak and fries are pieces of burnt meat and chopped up hamburger patty with a large clump of fries that are stuck together. Tastes of old oil. Manager did give a refund. Should’ve known better when I pull into the parking lot on a Saturday night and there’s only 1 car there.

Kiln hosted girls softball tournament and 24 people from our team was welcomed into business that was empty of other patrons. Staff was moving tables to accommodate our group when server stated his boss had left for awhile and that the freezer was locked; therefore, they did not have access to any food to prepare. He stated he didn’t”t know his boss’ phone #. We left feeling they did not want our business. Other teams would have come for dinner also since there are few eating options in the Kiln. We will definitely try again when in the area since the food was highly recommended.

Very reasonable prices and the people are great! I’ve only had one bad experience and that’s cause my server brought my mom and I dirty silverware,which I know is pretty major but it’s the only bad experience I have here, it’s definitely worth checking out and Tuesday tacos are $1!
