Just moved from new Britain and so far all but one Chinese place I have found was half decent but nothing special. But Peking garden has definitely been the worst hands down couldn’t even eat the sesame chicken was hard as a rock with tiny bits of meat that didn’t even look like chicken, boneless ribs to not tender at all don’t waste your time

Dine in not an option, todays order was 31$ egg foo young and gravy this was a 10- pu pu platter for 2 this gets a 5. Shrimp lo mien gets A 2 cause there was no shrimp in it. It’s in business for the sole purpose that it’s a neighborhood favorite. I personally would not waste my hard earned money here

I’ve been going here since I moved to Hartford in 2004. Peking Garden always makes my fried rice the way I want with extra egg in it when I ask them to. Their fried rice tastes better than the chinese restaurant that is a quarter mile down the road from them on the same strip.

The food is good it’s clean…I give 3 stars because a couple of times me going the lady who take orders come off with an attitude. Also they charge you extra if you use card, but there’s no signs presented stating an extra charge. They janky and I don’t like that!

Food is good, but service has become questionable. I began an order online, and decided to call in because there was a service charge. The price somehow increased when I opted to call in and avoid the service fee. I was told that the prices online are old prices, and that tax was added to each item versus the total . The online total, with a $.99 fee was $20.63, remove the fee and it went up to$22.30. Fraudulent just a tad.

I use to love the food it was the only Chinese restaurant i would order from untill the last time after eating most if my rice i started to chew on something crunchy, i search the rice and guess what?little black mice droppings,i gagged all the way to the trash ,and then i wash my mouth so many times i was so sick to my stomach and disgusted!!
