Went to visit a friend in Russellville and she suggested this restaurant. It was okay. Nothing noteworthy or spectacular. I had a fajita taco salad with chicken. There was not a lot flavor. I also had a margarita which was pretty weak and left my hands sticky.

Pretty average Mexican food. Queso is super runny. The single order of fajitas is just enough for one person. The hostess wasn’t very friendly. Great drink prices for pitchers of margaritas. Overall not impressed.

I ordered the grilled corn and zucchini enchiladas with cheese sauce. They let me add spinach. All of the veggies were freshly grilled and didn’t feel like it had been sitting around for a while. The cheese sauce was not your typical sauce. It tasted freshly made and didn’t harden after 5 mins of not stirring it with a chip to break up the layer on top. The entire meal was really good. I would come back just for the food! For my drink I ordered a cantarita. Tasted like grapefruit heaven. I think they used squirt as the mixer? I drank the large by myself and shared another large. Service was wonderful and our waitress was very kind and helpful with all my questions. Really great experience.

Awesome food and great service! The menu has a lot of delicious choices, it’s hard to just decide on one thing! The Mexican bowl pictured below is so good and very filling! I would definitely get that again. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are pretty big. The staff is very friendly and the service was very quick. Highly recommend La Chiquita!
